Introduction

omosis is an advanced Automated Marketer Maker (AMM) that allows developers to build custom AMMs with robust liquidity pools. Osmosis is built using the Cosmos SDK and uses the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) feature to enable cross-chain transactions. The Cosmes ecosystem follows the "Blockchain as Decentralized Program" architecture; This means that omosis is a blockchain connected to Cosmos Hub, which is also a decentralized exchange.

Methodology

In this dashboard, we calculated the active users in 5 days of the week and using the osmosis.core.fact_transactions and osmosis.core.fact_msgs tables, we called various user activities.

We also tried to answer the questions of this bounty by using the osmosis.core.fact_transfers table

Dashboard Purpose

The purpose of creating this dashboard is to check the active users on the Osmosis network, what activities they have and how they perform in activities such as swap and LP, and we will also check the activity of these active users during the transfer of tokens to Osmosis.

Daily Active Users(DAUs) and the activities they do

The visualizations below show the active users on the Osmosis network in five days of the week. These visualizations show the activities that the DAUs do on a weekly and total basis.

• The most activity of active users is related to transactions. We can see that the Osmosis network has more than 85,000 active users, and more than 85M of them made transactions on this network.

• Activities such as transfer, swap, LP, and stake are seen in the next categories.

• The most active users can be seen in March 2022, and we can see that after this month, the number of active users has gone through a downward trend.

• The most transactions made by active users was more than 44M transactions that were made in May 2022.

We intend to show which of these activities the active users of the Osmosis network do the most

observations

• We can see that both in terms of the number of active users and in terms of the number of transactions made by DAUs, swap activity is more, among these users.

• In terms of the number of users, about 50% and in terms of the number of transactions, more than 70% of the activities related to DAUs belong to Swap.

• Stake and LP activities are in the second and third category.

• In terms of the number of users, the most activity can be seen at the end of the first week of March 2022, and in terms of the number of transactions, the swap activity on May 9, 2022 shows the most activity by active users.

• As we can see in the normalized graph, the largest share of activity in terms of the number of active users and in terms of the number of transactions belongs to Swap.

Transfer IN to Osmosis

The following visualizations check the transfer activity by active users, especially the transfer to Osmosis.

We are going to see how the transfer of tokens in Osmosis is, and compare it with transfer out, and we will also check the timing of token transfer to Osmosis.

• Carefully in the weekly transfer chart, it can be said that after May 16, 2022, transfer in transactions on Osmosis have increased compared to transfer out, and after this day, the number of transfer in transactions is higher in all weeks.

• We can see that the overall share of transfer in transactions is more than transfer out and as we can see, the transfer of tokens to Osmosis is about 300K more.

The hourly timing chart shows that more than 12,000 active users perform about 200,000 transfer in transactions every hour.

Conclusion

In this dashboard, we saw that more than 80k daily active users (DAU) are active on the Osmosis network, and this number was calculated assuming that these users make transactions 5 days a week. DAUs have done more than 85 million transactions on the Osmosis network and as we have seen in the comparison of the three activities of swap, LP and stake.

We saw that the transfer transactions into Osmosis are more than the outgoing transactions and active users During 200k transfer in transactions, more than 12k tokens are imported into Osmosis every hour.
