Introduction

Since Nouns DAO forked Compound Governance, Lil Nouns DAO has been in charge of overseeing the ecosystem. The treasury of the Lil Nouns DAO receives all of the ETH earnings from the daily auctions of Lil Nouns. Members of Lil Nouns DAO are entitled to one vote in all governance decisions for each Lil Noun. If you sell your Lil Noun, your vote goes with it. However, you can delegate your Lil Noun vote to another person as long as you own the Lil Noun.

Nouns DAO’s Rewards

Lil Nounders have decided to reward the Nouns DAO with Lil Nouns as a token of appreciation for their altruistic stewardship of cc0. It is expected that every 11th Lil Noun for the first five years of the project will be automatically transmitted to the Nouns DAO, where it will be vested and distributed among project participants.

DAO payouts do not disrupt the 15-minute auction cadence. When a new Lil Noun ID becomes available, the auction process continues as usual with the next available Lil Noun ID. Lil Nouns are delivered straight to the Nouns DAO Treasury.

Method

I used the ethereum.core.ez_nft_transfers table in this dashboard and filtered it by nft_address = '0x4b10701Bfd7BFEdc47d50562b76b436fbBdB3B', which is the Lil Nouns contract address, and nft_to_address = 0x0bc3807ec262cb779b38d65b38158acc3bfede10 to calculate the value of that, I used the ethereum.core.fact_event_logs table and summed the event_inputs: amount/1e18 as mint price by filter of event_name = 'AuctionSettled to indicate the transactions of winner bids.

Additionally, I repeated this procedure by filtering of nft_from_address = '0x000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000' in the ethereum.core.ez_nft_transfers table to find the value of the Lil Nouns DAO to Nouns DAO.

Analysis

• In the above chart the amount of mint price of each Lil Nouns are calculated as value.

Total value of the Lil Nouns in the Nouns DAO treasury, and total value of the Lil Nouns DAO to Nouns DAO are calculated and shown in the above PIE chart.

Q2. The Lil Nouns DAO was created as a sub-DAO from Nouns DAO. The Lil Nouns DAO compensates Nouns DAO by automatically sending every 11th Lil Noun (Lil Noun ids #1, #11, #21, #31 and so on) to the Nouns DAO Treasury.

The aims of current dashboard":

1. Estimate the total value of the Lil Nouns in the Nouns DAO treasury,
2. and analyze the value of the Lil Nouns DAO to Nouns DAO.

Findings

• Total count of Lil Nouns in the Nouns DAO treasury are 278 number and total count of minted Lil Nouns by Nouns DAO are 2221 to date.
• Total value of the Lil Nouns in the Nouns DAO treasury is 94m, and total value of the Lil Nouns DAO to Nouns DAO is almost 889m to date.
• On May 24th, the most of Lil Nouns was minted and transferred to Nouns DAO treasury, 83 and 10 number respectively. 
• Top 3 most mint price are indicate by TokenId #11, #1 and #41, respectively.
• The momentum of the cumulative growth of count of minted Lil Nouns are shown in the above chart are sharpen than Lil Nouns transfer to the Nouns DAO treasury.

• In this PIE chart top 10 of Lil Nouns in the Nouns DAO treasury base on mint price are shown by their TokeID.
