This analytics is done to study the difference in fees paid by users that uses Wormhole or Terra Bridge to transfer their assets to other ecosystem
The below Chart shows the average fees paid in LUNA by users to transfer their asset via bridge. The blue bars represents the fees for Terra bridge. Which is significantly lower than that is paid to Wormhole bridge shown in Orange bars. Furthermore, the existence of surge on Oct 19th to Oct 24th in fees paid is a concern.
The below chart shows the number of transaction per day vs fees paid in LUNA. Relatively speaking, there are nothing to note except the initial surge said before. otherwise the fees trend seems to be at a constant despite increasing and fluctuating transaction traffic
The below chart shows the case for Terra bridge. While as explained before, Terra Bridge charges less fees, The sudden bump in Oct 19th till Nov 11 for fees collected also is a concern. It does not indicate it has any relation to rise in transaction traffic, so it must have been other factor
From the study did, there seems to be a factor that affects in surge in fees collected for IBC platform. The fact it is temporary and not related to transaction traffic should be studied for further understanding
