ETH Deposited or Withdrawn (StarkWare Bounty)

Q1. StarkNet is a layer 2 chain, that ensures interoperability with the Ethereum mainnet. People are using it to move real ETH to StarkNet and enjoy its higher speed of transaction and lower fees. How many ETHs have been deposited or withdrawn (bridged) so far from Ethereum to StarkNet or vice versa? and by how many depositors? Hint: Each deposit/withdrawal on StarkNet is done through the StarkNet proxy contract on Ethereum: 0xae0Ee0A63A2cE6BaeEFFE56e7714FB4EFE48D419. The logs will tell you more.

Methodology:

Thanks to the flipside hint, we know that contract address for Starkware deposit/withdrawal is 0xae0Ee0A63A2cE6BaeEFFE56e7714FB4EFE48D419

Moreover, there are 2 origin function signature for this contract address which are 0xb6b55f25 For Deposits and 0x00f714ce for Withdrawal

Now, with considering above facts, I am going to check ETH volume, USD volume, Number of Users, Number of Transactions and Growth Rate of ETH Volume and Users for our bounty subject as below:

And at last in terms of number of transactions, we can see most of the transactions count within May 2022, and after that (similar to previous charts) this number is decreasing slightly overtime.

Based on the above charts, most volume of bridged ETH was achieved after 9th May 2022 (The exact date when Starkway Alpha went live on Mainnet) and after a while, we can obviously see decreasing trend over time.

And in terms of number of transaction, we can also see 97.2% of transactions (21445) were deposits and only 2.85% of them (621) were withdrawal.

Over Time Analysis

Now, let's check the same data above on daily charts, but before that, let's take a look on Starkware official twitter account:

Based on the above chart, We can see ratio ratio for ETH deposits to Starkware is way more than its withdrawal.

Total 395.6ETH is deposited into Starkware, on the contrary, only 21ETH is withdrawn from Starkware.

In terms of number of users, there are 17816 wallets (96.8%) who deposited into the Starkware and only 582 wallets (3.16%) withdrawn from it.

Based on the above pinned tweet, We realized that Starkway Alpha went live on Mainnet on 9th May 2022

In terms of number of users, we can see most number of interacted users with Starkway after Mainnet launch date, after that, a slight decreasing trend is visible on the chart.
