    LaLiga Golazos has entered the arena! LaLiga is Dapper Labs latest marketplace for digital moments of players; this past month, Dapper dropped the first LaLiga packs and opened up the secondary marketplace. For this round, create an analysis looking at LaLiga’s first few weeks of action, comparing against the first few weeks of other Flow darlings like NBA TopShot & NFL All Day, as well as Algorand’s FIFA Collect+. How does La Liga compare in terms of overall sales on pack drops? What about on the secondary marketplace? How many users participated in LaLiga in its first few weeks compared to other relevant marketplaces?

    Introduction

    LaLiga and Dapper Labs have launched 'Golazos', an official non-fungible token (NFT) platform for digital video collectibles based on iconic moments from Spanish soccer's top flight. Moments are digital video collectibles that you can own and sell. Each Moment has its own qualities, including how rare it is.

    Laliga Golazo allows fans to buy and sell NFTs consisting of officially licensed footage involving LaLiga players and teams.

    Methodology

    So, almost one week has passed since LaLiga Golazo's launch on the Flow NFT marketplace. On the occasion of this, I am going to compare this project vs TopShot & AllDay (on FLOW) & FIFA Collect + (on Algorand) mints and sales activity during their first week.

    For this, I am going to filter the timespan for each part to “First 7 Days of sales/mints”. To make it possible, I have used row_number () over (order by date) command with filtering the result <= 7.

    • For Laliga Golazo, TopShot and AllDay, I have mainly used flow.core.ez_nft_sales (for sales) and flow.core.fact_events (for mints) tables. (Mint transactions emit the 'MomentNFTMinted' or 'MomentMinted' events)
      • Laliga Golazo Collection Contract: 'A.87ca73a41bb50ad5.Golazos'
      • TopShot Collection Contract: 'A.0b2a3299cc857e29.TopShot'
      • NFL AllDay Collection Contract: 'A.e4cf4bdc1751c65d.AllDay'
    • For FIFA Collect+, I have mainly used algorand.nft.ez_nft_sales_fifa table with filtering sale_type column to ‘mint’ (for mints) or ‘secondary’ (for sales).

    For each part, I have only considered Successful transactions (tx_succeeded = 'TRUE')

    Mints Stats

    According to the left charts, In the first 7 days of mint process, The number of minted AllDay tokens is more than other collections and the good news is that LaLiga Golazos is on the second rank above TopShot and FIFA+.

    During the first 7 days, There are total 648.36k minted LaLiga Golazo tokens which is more than 133.659k minted TopShots and 180.261 minted FIFA+ Tokens and less than 1.312M minted AllDay tokens.

    According to the left charts, all of current LaLiga Golazo tokens were minted within only 3 days.

    The majority of tokens (almost 83% of all tokens) were minted during the first day (25 October 2022) and the other tokens were minted on 26 October and 14 November 2022.

    Sales Stats

    On the above charts, we can see the number of mint transactions on FIFA+ during the first week is more than all other collections but in terms of number of minted tokens, we can see Laliga Golazo and AllDay have the lead.

    The majority of Laliga Golazos tokens were minted on Day #1 with more than 537k minted tokens and the minted tokens number has declined after this day.

    But the number of minted AllDay tokens during the next days after the first day has increased significantly and we can see this collection has the lead in all days except Day #1.

    Moreover, we can see the average daily number of minted tokens on LaLiga Golazo token is more than other projects.

    On the above charts, during the first week of launch, the total number of sales, unique purchasers, and also total volume of sales on the AllDay collection is way more than other projects (charts are logarithmic so the difference is more than what you see).

    On the second rank, we can see TopShot collection has attracted more sale activity and on the 3rd rank with a low difference from TopShot, we can see LaLiga Golazo.

    We can also see the majority of LaLiga Golazo sales within the first week were done with $5 - $10 volume and there are almost 16% of sales that were done with more than $50 price.

    On the above charts, we can see the average hourly and daily sales stats on these collections during the first week of their launch.

    As we see, similar to the previous chart, AllDay has by far attracted the highest average daily and hourly sale activity compared to the other collections and LaLiga Golazo is also on the 3rd rank here.

    In terms of average hourly number of new first-time purchasers, we can see LaLiga Golazo is on the second rank higher than TopShot project but in terms of average daily number of new purchasers, LaLiga is on the 3rd rank after FIFA+ and still higher than TopShot.

    Based on the above charts, AllDay high sale activity has mainly started since its 4th day of launch on NFT marketplace. during the first 3 days, LaLiga, FIFA+ and TopShot had a close compete with each other but on and after the 4th day, AllDay has by far overtaken all collections in all terms of number and volume of sales and also number of active and new first-time purchasers.

    The main activity of LaLiga Golazo sales has been started from its 3rd day of launch and during its first 2 days (especially first day) its sales activity was not so high.

    As mentioned, we can see a close compete between LaLiga Golazo, TopShot and FIFA+ in all terms over time.

    In terms of number of sales, LaLiga has performed better than TopShot and FIFA+ on the 3rd day of launch but on other days, TopShot has more sales to the extent that we can see LaLiga cumulative sales count is 3rd after AllDay and TopShot (higher than FIFA+).

    In terms of volume of sales, LaLiga again performed better than TopShot and FIFA+ on the 3rd day of launch but on other days, TopShot has way better performance and we can see in cumulative sales volume chart, LaLiga has generated the 3rd highest sales volume (higher than FIFA+ and lower than TopShot).

    Also in terms of number of new purchasers, we can see LaLiga has performed well on the 3rd day of launch but the total number of new purchasers during the first week on LaLiga golazo collection is slightly less than FIFA+ and is on the 3rd rank in this terms.

    on the scatter charts, we can see AllDay tokens have by far the highest floor price, token price and also price ceiling during the first week of launch. LaLiga golazo tokens floor price in majority of days during the first week is $1 and is on the 3rd rank after TopShot and FIFA+ in most number of days. In terms of Median sales price, we can see LaLiga is again on the 3rd rank in majority of days and in terms of price ceiling, there is close compete between TopShot, FIFA+ and LaLiga Golazo in majority of days.

    At last in the normalized %wise area charts, we can see before AllDay hype, the majority of sales numbers (and almost sales volume with a close compete with FIFA+) belong to the LaLiga Golazo but after the 3rd day, the hype of AllDay sales has began and this collection has by far the highest share of sales in both terms of number and volume in all next days.

    Summary and Conclusion

    Based on the above analysis, LaLiga Golazo collection is performing really good compared to the other top sport-related NFT collections such as AllDay, TopShot and FIFA+ and we can say its performance was significantly satisfying during its first days of launch and In most metrics, LaLiga Golazo was well-competing for the 2nd and 3rd rank among these top collections.

    In terms of purhcasers, The most number of LaLiga Golazo buyers during the first week of launch have purchased 2-5 tokens and performed 2-5 transactions which shows the high activity of buyers and also high popularity of Golazo tokens !

    Totally, We have seen that AllDay collection during the first 7 days of launch (in both terms of sales and mints) had better performance than other collections, and with a quite high difference from them, attracted the highest number and volume of sales and also number of active & first-time purchasers on this time period.

    In the first 7 days, The average number and volume of purchases and also number of traded tokens per purchaser on AllDay and TopShot collections is more than other projects (TopShot is on the first rank in terms of number of sales and AllDay is the first rank in terms of volume.)

    We can see in both charts, LaLiga Golazo’s average puchaser is more active than FIFA+ and in this terms, LaLiga Golazo is on the 3rd rank after TopShot and NFL AllDay.

    On the above charts, we can see the distribution of these collections’ purchasers by their purchases count, purchased tokens and also purchase volume during the first week of project launch.

    As we see, most number of LaLiga Golazo purchasers have done 2-5 trades and traded 2-5 tokens which shows the high activity of its buyers. Also, the most number of LaLiga Golazo buyers have totally spent more than $100 for trading tokens in the first week of launch.
