Introduction

Aave is a decentralized lending and borrowing protocol initially launched on Ethereum network in 2021, and recently expanding itself on other L1 and L2 blockchains like Avalanche, Polygon, Optimism, etc.

Method

In this article we will analyse two main part of Aave protocol. First we will dige a little bit in two tables of deposits and withdraws from Flipsidecrypto to see amount of supplied and withdrawn on Aave and then we will see the stake and unstaking behaviour on this platform.

For the second part of our journey we will need 0x4da27a545c0c5b758a6ba100e3a049001de870f5the stake contract of aave.

Here also there are some days which huge amount of withdrawn created by Aave protocol's users and volume of other days are not notable enough.
Over the past 3 months, highest amount of AAVE tokens that can be seen on daily graph is 25.6K which withdrawn from protocl on May 7th.

Weekly graph of transactions and withdrawers number shows constant decrease over the past 90 days.\

We could also see the same correlation between transactions number of withdrawn and users who made those. There are also that break out pattern I explained on supply chart which created here on withdrawn graph as well.

Statistics of withdrawn on Aave protocol compared to supply stats over the past 3 months shows people deposit more AAVE tokens into platform.
Total number of users who has withdrawn assets from Aave are 56 people but as you can see earlier number of suppliers are 110 users. Withdrawers made 82 transactions in total which was led to take 68.5K tokens out of the Aave platform. $Usd worth of these withdrawn is 5M.

Daily Aave supplied over the past 3 months shows huge volume on just 1 day, Other than that we can see some small volumes on 5-6 days and beside these days volume of others are barely detectable which don’t make any particular shape or pattern on the chart.

On above right corner, there is a chart shows daily number of transactions and users of Aave supplied over the past 3 months.

First notable thing on chart is the correlation between them, Almost for each day transactions number are the same as users number which telling us most of users are just making one transaction per day.
If we wanna describe this graph, I could say from March to first days of April volume of both users and transactions are stuck between a numerics which create a shape but after that shape and pattern broke and changed as it’s obvious on graph.

On right side, there are four tables showing total stats of supplied assets on Aave over the past 3 months.

Total number of users who supplied assets on Aave over the past 3 months are 110 numbers.
Over this time period these users made 140 transactions to deposit and supply assets.
Total amount of Aave supplies on this time period is 311.9K assets.
These assets that deposit and supplied on Aave protocol worth 22.7M Usd.

The bar chart above illustrates the Aave staked amount over the past 3 months by the side of transactions and number of users related to these stakes. We do have the same sharp spikes of volumes on stake chart same as supply and withdrawn except that other days of our duration has notable volume too. Over the past couple of weeks Aave protcol received good amount of tokens staked by users on their platform.

There is a nice correlation between daily number of transactions and stakers on their graph. Another remarkable thing to mention on this chart is sharp and massive increase that have appeared on March 25 and a huge decrease which occurred on May 5th where only 2 transactions and users had activity on it.
I took a look into total statistics of Aave staking and here are the numbers of I get for them. Over the past 3 months , 1200 users staked tokens on Aave platform. They had 1400 transactions in total which staked more than 210K tokens by them. $Usd worth of this amount is 14.9M

Daily bar chart below shows Aave unstaked data over the past 3 months. Unstaking has been decrease and cool off over the past weeks. Users are most staking tokens again instead of unstaking due the market condition which is getting a little bit better.

Over time period we investigated 452 users attempt to unstake their tokens. They made 462 transactions and unstake 190.2K tokens worth of 14.1M USD.

In this analyse we investigated about the AAVE tokens supplied and withdrawn along with staked and unstaked of it on Aave protocol.

In conclusion, Over the past months amount of withdrawn from Aave has been decreased significanly which is almost 2X lower than all stats on supply deposits.

In the second part on our analyse, we looked at the statistics of Aave staked and unstaked. In overall, staking process of AAve tokens has been increased a little bit on platform and number of transactions, stakers and stake amount received bigger numbers compared to unstaking data over the past 3 months.
