Near Developer Activity
Let's dive into Near developer's activity and show some insights!
NEAR
NEAR Protocol is a layer-1 blockchain that aims to be scalable, secure, and user-friendly. It uses a unique sharding mechanism to achieve scalability, which allows the network to process more transactions per second without sacrificing security. NEAR also uses a number of other features to improve usability, such as human-readable account names and the ability to deploy smart contracts without paying any upfront fees.
NEAR is still under development, but it has already attracted a large and growing community of developers. This is partly due to the fact that NEAR is relatively easy to use, even for developers who are new to blockchain.
NEAR also has a number of features that make it attractive to developers, such as support for Rust and JavaScript/TypeScript, and a wide range of tools and resources available to help them get started.
NEAR Dev Activity
NEAR Dev GitHub activity has been steadily increasing over the past year. This activity includes work on new features and bug fixes for the NEAR core protocol, as well as development on new tools and resources for NEAR developers.
Some of the most active NEAR Dev GitHub repositories include:
- nearcore: The reference client for the NEAR Protocol.
- near-api-js: A JavaScript library for interacting with the NEAR Protocol.
- near-cli: A command-line tool for interacting with the NEAR Protocol.
- create-near-app: A tool for creating new NEAR applications.
