The Typical Minter - Status of Godmode Users

Analyze the Ethereum profile of those who minted during the first hour after launch. How many of them moved the minimum .1 ETH into their minting wallet vs. already had at least .1 ETH in that wallet? How many of them have been active in NFT purchases over the past six months? Can you construct a “typical minter” profile/profiles based on their wallet behavior?

    Introduction

Godmode is a collection of 1000 brains which generated by Flipside's community. With Godmode, you can have unlimited access to Flipside bounties. Also, if you use your brain a little!!, you can earn up to $100K a year (Is that amazing? Isn't it?).

Well, let's get to the point! Godmode was released on June 7, 2022 for users on the Allowlist to minting. Therefore, in this analysis, we discuss the behavior of users who have minted Godmode in the first hour.

At the first, by using the flipside_prod_db.ethereum_core.ez_nft_mints data, we get the addresses of the wallets that minted Godmode in the first hour. The number of wallets that paid 0.1 Ethereum for minting are 88.

As can be seen from the chart above, 176 wallets belong to the Cantina category, and 88 wallets that have paid at least 0.1 ETH to mint are in the Regular category.

The chart above also shows which platforms have been the most popular among users. In last 6 months 97.2% of user used Opensea to buy NFT.

Finally, a general classification of user behavior in the last 6 months is presented:

You see the number of NFTs that each wallet has purchased in the last 6 months. The first two users have purchased the largest number of NFTs, both in terms of dollar value and number.

The chart above shows the volume of NFT purchases based on wallets.

The chart above shows that 77.8% of users had at least 0.1 ETH in their wallet, the day before launch, and only 22.2% of them transferred the required amount of ETH to their wallet on the day of launch.

It is also clear that 61.4% of users have not been active in buying NFT during the last 6 months, and 38.6% of them have bought at least once.

    • Most users (28 wallets) do not fall into any of the categories.
    • 20 users fall into all 3 categories.
