Curve 3pool Analysis

Curve Finance is a decentralized exchange built on Ethereum blockchain and allows Ethereum users exchange ERC tokens through it with low fees and low slippage. It provides liquidity pools for users to pool their assets together and earn fees on trades that occur on within these pools without suffering from high fees or market volatility. One of such pool is the 3Pool. 3Pool consists of three Stablecoins: USDC, DAI and USDT. The pool allows users to trade between these Stablecoins with very low slippage and fees. Very recently the Aave tokens (aUSDT and aUSDC) were added to the 3Pool but in this analysis we would be focusing on the three major Stablecoins. In this dashboard, we want to take a deep-dive into the activities that took place in the pool for the month of February. Some metrics we would be looking at: - Total Number of Users - Number of Transactions and Swap Volume - Swap Volume - Number of Daily Active Users - Most Swapped Token Pair. - Daily number of users adding and removing Liquidity - Daily Balance of each Stablecoins at the end of the day. - Daily Average Transaction fees

On Febuary 13th, we notice a spike in transactions and number of swap in the pool with 846 successfully completed transactions and swap volume of over 711 million USD. This could be possibly attributed to the pressure on BUSD crackdown by the US SEC with users looking to swap to a more secured assest.

Number of Active Users increased on the 13th of Feburary with 387 users actively using the pool.

USDT token has the highest number of swap volume, with USDC following very closely and DAI being the least swapped token. On the 13th of February, there was a spike in swap for all three stablecoins.

Most users swapped their assests from USDC-USDT in the pool, but o the 5th of February USDT-USDC had more swaps. On the 13th of February, it had over 400 token swaps, followed by USDT-USDC with 295 token swaps.

From the data, users added liquidity to the pool compared to the removal of liquidity. Also, most users added liquidity to the pool on the 13th of Febuary with 155 users adding liquidity to the pool. On the 23rd, 26th and 27th of February users did not remove liquidity.
