Balancer Exploration

It has been active on Ethereum, Polygon, and Arbitrum chains but was recently launched on the Avalanche network. In this analysis, we will explore Balancer on the Avalanche network. In the first section, we will examine liquidity actions in terms of volume, actions, and more. In the second section, we will study the behavior of liquidity providers and the status of pools. In the third section, we will examine trade and swap activity on Balancer. Finally, we will compare Balancer with other DEXs on Avalanche and compare Balancer's activity in other chains versus Avalanche.

    Introduction

Balancer is a decentralized automated market maker (AMM) protocol built on Ethereum that represents a flexible building block for programmable liquidity.

    Mthodology

To track Balancer's liquidity actions, we decoded its information using the following tools: avalanche.core.ez_decoded_event_logs, avalanche.core.dim_contracts, and crosschain.core.fact_hourly_prices, with the contract address 0xba12222222228d8ba445958a75a0704d566bf2c8. We successfully extracted Balancer information with high accuracy.

For exploring swap and trade activities, we utilized `evms.defi.ez_dex_swaps.

Note: All volume values are in US dollars.
