Introduction

In this analysis, we have investigated Uniswap in three L2 blockchains: Arbitrum, Optimism, and Base. For better comparison, in the first section, we compare Uniswap activity in terms of volume, trade numbers, active users, and more in EVM blockchains over the last year. Additionally, we examine the effect of gas prices on trade numbers. In the second section, we explore the behavior of Uniswap traders using distribution charts. In the third section, we analyze trade metrics over time to identify trends and spikes. In the fourth section, we investigated popular tokens in L2 chains. In the fifth section, we extracted retention rates for Uniswap users in L2s. Moreover, we examined trader activity in terms of time duration. Finally, in the sixth section, we explored token listing activity on the L2 chains. The analysis covers the last 12 months, and all volumes are in US dollars.
