    ENS(Etheruem Name Service) launched on May 4th, 2017 it allowed owners of Ethereum addresses to use functionality associated with DNS, the Domain Name Service that came before it turning the strings associated with websites into human-readable text. From May 4th 2017 users of ENS could turn the strings associated with their ethereum wallet addresses into human-readable text with .eth following the customised text a user chooses.

    137 thousand people are eligible for the airdrop, which is an airdrop of the ENS token with 25% of the total tokens distributed being allocated to this airdrop for those who hold a .ETH ENS address.

    As of the 8/12/2021, 66.4% of the wallets eligible for the ENS Airdrop have claimed their tokens.
