    Disney Pinnacle May Trading Event

    Disney Pinnacle hosted a limited-time trading event that enabled collectors to trade digital pins with others. During the May Trading Event, they could access and share their Trade Link with other collectors, allowing them to create and send trade offers. You can find all the historical information about the event below.

    When the May Trading Event is active, the Disney Pinnacle by Dapper Labs app will show the Trade tab in the bottom navigation bar. From there, you can copy your Trade Link and share it with others. Anyone who opens your Trade Link will be able to view your digital pins and create/send you an offer. Similarly, you can use other collectors’ Trade Links to create and send them offers. Please note that you won’t be able to access the Trade tab when the May Trading Event is not active.

    • Creating and sending trade offers

    Trade offers with other collectors can be created in two ways:

    1. Use someone’s Trade Link to directly open the Make an Offer screen with them
    2. Tap on the avatar of anyone you’ve previously traded with in the left side of the Trade tab (this list can also be expanded to view full usernames)

    Once you’re on the Make an Offer screen, you can search for digital pins to add to the trade offer. (Pro tip: use the filtering options to quickly find the perfect digital pins!). Remember, trades must include at least one (1) digital pin from each side.

    Make sure you only send trade offers you’re certain you want to complete! If your trading partner accepts your offer, your digital pins will immediately be traded, and completed trades cannot be undone. You can view any pending, declined, canceled, or completed trades with each trading partner in their Offers tab. From here, you can also cancel any pending offers you sent that they haven’t accepted yet.

    • Accepting or declining trade offers

    Whenever someone sends you a trade offer, you’ll receive a notification and see their avatar added to the left list of trading partners. Open the Offers tab with each trading partner to view any offers that they’ve sent. From there, you can view the details of the offer and choose to accept or decline. Only accept offers you’re certain you want to trade, as digital pins will immediately be traded once you confirm, and completed trades cannot be undone!

    FAQ

    • Can I use a digital pin in multiple trade offers? Yes, digital pins do not leave your collection until a trade is accepted and fully completed. If you use the same digital pin in multiple offers, only the first accepted trade will be successful, and all other pending offers that include that digital pin will automatically be canceled. It works the same way if you accept a trade offer for a digital pin that you included in other pending offers.

    • Can trades include multiple digital pins? Yes, as long as each side of a trade includes at least one (1) digital pin.

    • How do I turn off trade notifications? Some collectors may be very popular and receive a ton of trade offers for their digital pins! In such cases, they can mute notifications that are specific to trading in the hamburger menu’s Notification Preferences.

    • What happens at the end of the May Trading Event? When the limited-time May Trading Event ends, trading will no longer be accessible. This means that any pending trade offers cannot be accepted, and digital pins cannot be traded. Attempts to send or accept any trade offers after 8 PM PDT on May 24th will result in failed transactions."
