This dashboard monitors Flow's largest liquidity pools and how they've grown over time.In this dashboard, we track prices for Flow fungible tokens, looking for the following data points: ticker, volume on DEX by ticker, volume on CEX by ticker (if data is available), liquidity on DEX, price, market capitalization, and fully diluted value.
🟢 What is Flow?
Flow is a blockchain designed for scalability without the need for sharding techniques, which enables low-cost, high-speed transactions and is suitable for decentralized applications such as NFT markets and crypto-based video games. Flow was designed by Dapper Labs, who decided to solve the problems of other blockchains by building a blockchain designed for games and other interactive experiences. Dapper now uses Flow for all of his projects, including NBA TopShot, but other developers can use it as well.

DeFi on crypto refers to the application of decentralized finance principles specifically within the realm of cryptocurrencies. In the context of cryptocurrencies, DeFi encompasses a range of activities and platforms. Here are a few common examples:

- Yield Farming
- Decentralized Stablecoins
- Derivatives and Options
🧱 Methodology
In this section, using the flow.core.ez_token_transfers table, we will evaluate the transfers of Flow chain tokens between different addresses. In this section, each of the tokens of the Flow chain is discussed separately in each of the charts. In addition, transfers of these tokens with CEXs are also analyzed. The crosschain.core.address_labels table is also used to get the addresses of CEXs (label_type='cex').

The results show that FLOW has the highest number and volume of transfers among the different addresses of this blockchain. So far, 7.9M unique addresses have sent FLOW currency to 9.4M other addresses during 72M transaction with the volume of about 22B USD. But after FLOW, USDT, FUSD and BLOCTO tokens have registered the most transfers respectively. The interesting thing to note is that the volume of BLOCTO transfers is also more than FUSD. But the number and volume of REVV and STARLY transfers are far less compared to previous tokens. Another interesting point is that the volume and number of transfers of other currencies in this network can also be ignored.
🧱 Methodology
In this section, using Table flow.core.ez_swaps, we calculate and analyze the swap volume of Flow network tokens. To calculate the swap volume in USD, we joined the flow.core.ez_swaps table with table flow.core.fact_hourly_prices.
The results show that until January 2021, the volume of swaps has gradually increased month by month. In January 2022, the volume of the swap has reached its maximum value. In this month, USDT accounted for the largest volume with a volume equal to 94.3M USD. FUSD and FLOW are next with 72.4M USD and 16.2M USD respectively. But the swap volume of Flow network tokens also entered a downward trend at the same time as the bear market began. However, in May 2022, the swap volume had a significant growth. In the last month, the swap volume has reached its lowest value. About 47.6% of the total swap volume (674M USD) on the Flow chain is related to USDT. FLOW and FUSD are next with USD 364.6M and USD 277M respectively. Among the top three tokens of the chain, only FLOW had a higher buying volume compared to selling volume.
🧱 Methodology
In this part, we will separately examine the price of all tokens of the FLOW chain using Table flow.core.fact_hourly_prices from the Flipside database. Therefore, at the beginning of this dashboard, enter the name of the desired token. The list of Flow chain tokens is shown in the table below. Note that some of them are stablecoins.

First of all, we want to know that the market influence on the price of Flow chain tokens is more or that these tokens are more influenced by the price of the main coin of this chain, FLOW? For this reason, the correlation coefficient between the price of all coins of this chain and the price of BTC and FLOW has been obtained. The results show that the correlation coefficient of all tokens with FLOW is higher than BTC. This means that the price of these tokens is affected by FLOW more than BTC. The correlation coefficient of all coins with FLOW is positive and very strong (correlation coefficient above 0.8). While tokens like Rally and Sportium do not show any correlation with BTC. But BLOCTO has the highest correlation coefficient with BTC (0.88). However, the correlation coefficient of BLOCTO with FLOW is higher and is equal to 0.91. Among the chain tokens, the correlation between REVV and FLOW is very high. The correlation coefficient between these two currencies is equal to 0.97.

The evaluation of the price changes of Flow chain tokens has interesting results. Due to the beginning of the bear market trend at the end of 2021, all the tokens of this chain have entered a long-term downward trend after a short-term trend of price increase, which continues until now. FLOW recorded its highest price in April 2021 but has entered a long-term downtrend since September 2021. Currently, the price of FLOW has decreased by about 98% compared to the ATH price. The chart of FLOW price changes also shows that there were the highest daily price fluctuations in the same year 2021, and the price fluctuations have gradually decreased year by year, so that the daily price fluctuations have decreased from a few dollars to a few cents. Examining other tokens of this chain also shows a similar trend. For example, the highest BLOCTO price was recorded in November 2021. The price of BLOCTO entered a downward trend from mid-November 2021 onwards, which has continued until now. RALLY price review shows that the highest price of this token was recorded in July 2022. From August 2022, the price of this token entered a downward trend, which continued until the end of 2022, but from the beginning of 2023, it entered an upward trend, so that its price increased by about 440% in 2 months. But again, RALLY entered a downward trend since March, which continues until now. REVV and STARLY tokens also entered a downward price trend after hitting their highs in April 2022. Among the tokens of the Flow chain, SPORTIUM also has the largest decrease. The price of this token has decreased by more than 99% compared to its peak.

The evaluation of transfers of various tokens on the Flow chain shows that the number of transfers and the number of active addresses between which FLOW is transferred has grown significantly since the beginning of 2022. So that in June 2022, the number of transfers reached the highest number. In this month, the number of transfers reached 18.7M transactions. On the other hand, the number of FLOW sender and receiver addresses in this month was equal to 2.812M and 2.8M addresses respectively. In November 2022, the number of active addresses increased dramatically. In this month, on average, each address sent FLOW to 11 other addresses. The highest volume of FLOW transfers in USD was recorded in October 2022. But the interesting thing is that the largest number of FLOW tokens were sent in December 2022. Examining other Flow network tokens such as BLOCTO, USDT, FUSD, etc. shows that the most transfers of these tokens were in late 2021 and after that the number and volume of their transfers decreased. . In other words, with the beginning of the bear market, except for FLOW, the activity of other tokens in this network has dropped drastically.
Data analysis only shows information from FLOW transfers with CEXes. Therefore, the charts below show the volume of transfers, the number of transfers and the number of sender and receiver addresses of FLOW with CEXes. Among the different CEXes, Coinlist has sent the largest amount of FLOW in USD to the largest number of addresses(receivers). While Kraken is leading in other indicators among all CEXes.
🧱 Methodology
In this section, we joined the flow.core.dim_swap_pool_labels table with the flow.core.ez_swaps table to find the top liquidity pools.
In this part, we have identified the best liquidity pools in terms of number of swaps, number of traders and volume of swaps. These addresses are:
- In term of unique traders:

In general, the number of swaps, the volume of swaps and the number of traders in the FlowToken-FiatToken liquidity pool are far more than other pools.
The distribution of pools according to the number of active traders shows that:
- 6 pools have between 1 and 5 active traders.
- 10 pools have between 100 and 500 active traders.
- 2 identified pools, each of which had only 1 trader.
- There are also 4 pools with more than 500 active traders.
- There are also 7 pools that interact with between 5 and 50 traders.
The distribution of pools according to the number of swaps also has interesting points:
- Most of the pools have registered between 1000 and 5000 swaps.
- 1 pool has also been identified with more than 10k swaps.
But the distribution of pools according to swap volume shows that:
- There is only one pool with a swap volume of more than 1M USD. 2 pools also have a volume between 100K and 1M USD.
- The data shows 3 pools with a volume of less than 1USD.
- 5 pools also have a swap volume between 10K and 100K USD. 5 pools were also identified with swap volume between 1 and 10 USD.
In this dashboard, we examined the performance of Flow chain tokens from different aspects. First, we examined the performance of these tokens in terms of price. The correlation between the price of Flow chain tokens and the main coin of this network, i.e. FLOW, is higher than the correlation of these tokens with BTC. For example, the correlation between REVV and FLOW price is around 0.97. On the other hand, some tokens such as RALLY and SPORTIUM have no correlation with BTC. Among the tokens of the Flow chain, the BLOCTO token has the highest correlation with BTC. Examining the price trend of the tokens of this chain also shows that all of them have been affected by the bear market and their prices have entered a downward trend. In the next part, we analyzed the transfers of Flow chain tokens. The main coin of this network has the most transfers between different addresses. After FLOW, USDT and FUSD are also in the next ranks. In examining the transfers of Flow chain tokens with CEXes, only the data related to FLOW coin was obtained. The results show that Kraken and Coinlist exchange record the highest number and volume of FLOW transfers. In the next step, the swap volume of Flow chain tokens was evaluated. The highest volume of swaps was recorded in the last months of 2021 and January 2022. With the beginning of the crypto winter, the swap volume of various tokens of the Flow network also decreased gradually. But among the tokens of this chain, USDT, FLOW and FUSD have the largest volume of swaps. In the last step, we examined the liquidity pools of Flow chain tokens. Among the different pools, FlowToken-FiatToken has the largest number of swaps, the largest volume of swaps and the largest number of active traders. The distribution of these pools has also been obtained in terms of the number of swaps, the volume of swaps and the number of traders.
