Optimism

Optimism is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum. It helps reduce the transaction fee and transaction time on the Ethereum blockchain. Broadly speaking, Optimism helps solve Ethereum's scalability dilemma. Scalability refers to the rate of transactions per second (TPS) on a blockchain network. [1]

NFTs

NFTs are also called non-fungible tokens, and they are blockchain-held tokens that represent a unique asset – whether physical or digital. NFTs are secured on cryptocurrency blockchains, trading using Ethereum, Solana, Wax and other tokens.[2]

Some of the advantages of investing in NFTs include: Anyone can invest in NFTs. Investing in tokenized assets is accessible to everyone. Asset ownership that is tokenized into an NFT can more easily and efficiently be transferred among people anywhere in the world. [3]

📃 Purposes of dashboard

The purpose of this dashboard is to check the inter-community connection of NFT projects. In other words, this dashboard shows the crossover between the Optimism OP NFT projects.

In this dashboard, in the first step, the status of buying or selling NFTs on the Optimism network is examined. The purpose of this work is to select the best collections in terms of criteria such as volume and number of sales, etc.

In the next step, after selecting one of the top collections, those collections are analyzed in terms of the following metrics:

Average PRICE of Collection
Number of community members
Purchase/sale volume/count from other collections
Total number of unique collections purchased/sold by the community
Volume/number of NFT Purchases/sales by the Community
Distribution of the Number of Collections Between Communities
Top 10 Community Addresses
Diamond Hand Users
Diamond Collections for Community

✍🏻 Methodology

In this dashboard, the following tables are used to extract data:

optimism.core.ez_nft_sales → This table has been used to extract data related to the purchase and sale of NFT collections on the Optimism network.
optimism.core.dim_labels → This table is used to find the names of NFT collections.

To call only NFT addresses: label_type='nft'

🔴 Projects whose number of purchases in the desired time frame is more than the number of sales are called diamond collections.

First, select one of the NFT projects of the Optimism network from the Collection section. Then select your desired time period in which the data will be displayed from the date field.

💡 Conclusion

In this dashboard, after extracting the top NFT collections on the Optimism network, the relationship between the different communities of these projects was examined. Some of the most important results obtained are:

✅ ==Mirror wnft optimism collective: hello world== has the highest number of sales among different NFTs. This project also has the highest number of unique buyers.

✅ The address ==0x00ffbfd8d0deaaff8812b623aa0dee493f3f7cbb== had the highest number of NFT purchases among different collections.

✅ The address ==0xbe64259353b101e89497e01e00d98979fe2fba8a== has the largest volume of NFT purchases so far.

✅ The address ==0xe0767d2b47ec6a28e97afbf3a626cdfb226065c1== has sold the largest number of unique collections.

✅ More than 27k unique addresses have ever bought NFT from a collection just once.

Results of part 2:

✅ Community members of the ==Optipunk== project had the highest number and volume of sales from other collections.

✅ Community members of the ==Motorheadz== project have been the sellers of the largest number of unique collections.

✅ ==Mirror project wnft optimism collective: hello world== has the largest community among other projects. The community members of this project have had the largest number and volume of purchases from other collections so far. On the other hand, the community members of this project have been the buyers of the largest number of unique collections.

✅ In terms of communication with other collections, ==Optipunk community members have the most communication with other projects. ==Apetimism== project ranks second in this regard.

Other results such as the top members of each community, users with diamond hands and diamond collections for different projects are shown in the relevant section.

In this section, you can view the results by selecting one of the collections and choosing a time period from the "date" section.

For general review, we chose the time frame 300 (date=300) and the following results were obtained:

🏆 According to the results shown in the table below, the ==Mirror wnft optimism collective: hello world== community has the most members and maximum purchase count of nfts and unique collections and the largest volume of purchases from other collections.

🏆 Optipunk== community members also had the highest number and sales volume of NFTs from other collections.
