Wallet Providers

Some wallet providers, like Blocto, subsidize the FLOW network fees for their users. As such, the payer for all of these transactions, as listed on the scanner and in our tables, is the wallet address 0x55ad22f01ef568a1.

    Question

    • Are other wallet providers doing something similar?
      • Yes, some other wallet providers, like Dapper wallet or Lilico also subsidize the FLOW network fees for their users.
    • Can we determine what wallet provider an address is using from payer or any other transaction data?
      • We've noticed that the 3 main identifiers in a transaction are payer, proposer, and authorizers and it seems like we can determine some information about wallet provider here.

Assuming that each wallet provider has a specific payer, in this case:

        • payer = 0x55ad22f01ef568a1Blocto
        • payer = 0x319e67f2ef9d937fLilico
        • payer = 0x18eb4ee6b3c026d2Dapper

Then we considered AUTHORIZERS as addresses. Finally, assuming that their first transaction is on the same day of wallet creation, we identified the addresses related to each wallet provider. More details are given in the 'Data Analysis' section.
