Q1: The number of active wallets on Terra per day

As the following plot shows, the number of wallets that had more than 2 transactions per day since the beginning of 2022, follows a cyclic behavior. The general trend is downward from January 1, 2022, up until February 13, 2022, and it rises from that up until recently. The reason why we see a sudden drop in the final two days, may be because of non-complete tables. Otherwise it should be investigated.

Q2: The number of active wallets on Terra per month

The following plot shows the number of active wallets on Terra per month. We consider those wallets that have more than 10 transactions per month, as monthly active wallets. As was mentioned in the daily section, the was a downward trend from January to February of 2022, which can also be observed in the monthly data too.

Q3: Active wallets of Year-to-Date 2022

We found that there are 64,259 active wallets on Terra that had more than 50 transactions since the beginning of 2022.

Overview

For this question, we are looking for the number of wallets on Terra, daily, monthly and for the whole year of 2022 up until now. We used the number of transactions performed by each wallet as a measure for their activeness. Our thresholds were:

• For daily, we used more than 2 transactions per day to distinguish active wallets.
• For monthly, we used more than 10 transactions per month to distinguish active wallets.
• For year-to-date, we user more than 50 transactions since the January 1, 2022 to distinguish active wallets.
