For this question, we analyze the behavior of GENE token staking and its relation with the wallets that purchased Genopets NFTs. We also take a look at the trend of Genopets NFT purchases.

Question 1: Amount of GENE staked over time

For this question, we are looking at the amount of GENE token staked over time from its inception on May 18, 2022. We can see that the amount of staked GENE where high in the first two days, and it peaked at May 19. But it suddenly dropped on May 20, and was not able to rise back up after that. Though there was a spike on May 26, the amount was about 10% of its all time high on May 19.

Question 2: Number of unique wallets that staked GENE

The following graph shows the number of unique wallets that staked GENE since May 18. We can see that same as the amount of GENE staked, the number of wallets rises on May 19, and decrease since. Though there are some fluctuations, it never rose back up to its all time high of May 19.

Question 3: Percentage of stakers who have previously purchased a Genopets NFT

Amazingly enough, we have not found any staker, who have previously purchased a Genopets NFT. This effect can happen when the date range that we are analyzing is short, as is for this question. This situation might change as the days pass.

Question 4: Trend of Genopets NFT collection

The following figure shows the number of Genopets NFTs purchased since the end of 2021. We have seen several spikes of purchased during this time. Maximum number of purchased of Genopets NFTs occurred on February 26, 2022 with 375 NFTs purchased. We also saw a huge spike on April 4, 2022, when 317 Genopets NFTs where bought.

We also can see that since mid April 2022, Genopets NFT purchases decreased, and did not increased since then.
