Bridger destination
Introduction
As everyone knows, a blockchain bridge is a protocol connecting two blockchains to enable interactions between them. The most important benefit of blockchain bridges is the ability to improve interoperability. They enable the exchange of tokens, assets, and data across different blockchains, whether between layer 1 and layer 2 protocols or various sidechains.
In this analysis, we are going to analyze people who bridge to Polygon from Ethereum:
Where do people go when they bridge to Polygon from Ethereum? What are the 10 most popular first destinations for Polygon addresses that have just bridged from Ethereum?
Method
- Data source: Flipside Velocity DB
- Used Tables:
ethereum.core.fact_event_logs | polygon.core.fact_transactions | polygon.core.dim_labels
- Date range: All Flipside Velocity database records to the End of July 2022
- Origin to addresses:
0xa0c68c638235ee32657e8f720a23cec1bfc77c77 | 0x401f6c983ea34274ec46f84d70b31c151321188b
In the first step of the analysis, we are going to show you the daily number of users who bridges from Etherium to Polygon.
according to Flipside Data, the maximum number of unique users has been on June 14, 2022.
After the bridge:
- the destination of 30.6 % of users (About 5.8K of users) has been Quickswap dex. The most popular address of this project has been Swap router of that. (33.6% has been used Quickswap router)
- the destination of 22.1 % of users (About 4.2K of users) has been Metamask dex. The most popular address of this project has been Swap router of that. (25.4% has been used Metamask swap router)
- the destination of 16.3% of users (About 3.1K of users) has been AAve defi. The most popular part of this project has been the lending pool of that. (9.42% has been used Metamask swap router)
you can see other top projects and address names in the given charts.
hint: the percentage has been distributed between the top 10 projects and addresses.
Conclusion
- quickswap, metamask, aave, aavegotchi, opensea, the sandbox, sushiswap, crypto unicorns, uniswap, hop protocol are 10 top destinations of users after their bridge from Etherium to Polygon.
- quickswap router, metamask: swap router, aave lendingpool ,opensea: openstore token ,aavegotchi: nfts ,the sandbox: sand token ,sushiswap router ,uniswap v3: positions nft ,aave: pool v3 ,crypto unicorns: unicorns token are the name of top 10 addresses that users have been used after their bridge.
