Tokens traded on Uniswap
📝Notes:
-
Tokens with less than 10 total trades (either buying or selling) have been removed from this dashboard across all chains. This is a simple effort to remove suspected scam/test tokens from the data.

Stats for both Uniswap v2 and v3 are included.
🔷 Uniswap's token trading volume on Ethereum mainnet often aligns closely with Bitcoin and Ethereum price movements. When the number of distinct tokens traded reaches a new monthly high, Bitcoin frequently experiences a price surge or the beginning of a mini-bull run ( mini-bull exmaple: October 2022 and 2023)
🔷 Despite our efforts to filter out invalid tokens, still over 50% of tokens on Uniswap have only one day of trading history. In contrast, just 3.2% have submitted more than two years of trading activity. This suggests that many projects or tokens struggle to maintain long-term attention, and newer narratives often replace older ones.
Out of the total tokens traded on Ethereum mainnet, 27,000—or 10%—have been active in the last 30 days
🔷 As expected, major tokens dominate swap volumes and activity. However, when analyzing net-buying swaps, we observe a high popularity among meme tokens. This suggests that retails may be purchasing these tokens in significant quantities, but with relatively smaller bags!
🔷 67% of tokens have been traded by a relatively small number of addresses, specifically between 10 and 100. This is the most common range among tokens.
For recorded holders, wrapped Ethereum (wETH) reigns supreme. 97% of Uniswap users on Ethereum have either received or sent wETH in their swaps at least once!
