What does a Daily Active User look like on Osmosis? First, plot out how many DAUs there are on Osmosis. For this exercise, consider a DAU would be any wallet transacting on Osmosis a majority of days every week.
What Is Osmosis (OSMO)? brief intro
Osmosis (OSMO) is an automated market maker protocol (AMM) for the ATOM ecosystem. Osmosis was inspired by Balancer and Uniswap and wants to provide tools that go beyond traditional token swaps and offer users DeFi functionality for a cross-chain world. For example, developers can build customized AMMs with sovereign liquidity pools and users can launch liquidity pools with unique parameters like bonding curves and multi-weighted asset pools. That means a liquidity pool does not always have to follow a 50:50 distribution between its assets but can be customized according to the wishes of the party setting up the pool.
Osmosis's vision is to build a cross-chain native DEX that connects to all Cosmos ecosystem chains. Later, it plans to expand to non-IBC chains like Ethereum and chains similar to Bitcoin. In this fashion, Osmosis will transfer its unique customizability like custom-curve AMMs, dynamic adjustments of swap fees, and multi-token liquidity pools beyond blockchains in the Cosmos ecosystem.

Methodology
In this dashboard i will analyze Osmosis daily Active Users , transactions , swaps , staking , token transfers and LP actions and finally at the end of this dashboard i will compare user activity on these several sections and we will come to final conclusions of user activity on Osmosis.
Ill divide this dashboard to multiple sections and at top of each section i will prepare some basic information about overall statistics of that section for example ill provide you total transactions and total unique users who did any transaction at Transaction section of this board .
Extra information :
I will use osmosis.core.fact_transactions table to get data and information about Osmosis transactions and unique users who interacted with Osmosis .
I will use osmosis.core.fact_staking table to get data and information about Osmosis Staking actions like delegate , redelegate and undelegate .
I will use osmosis.core.fact_transfers table to get data and information about token transfers on Osmosis , data will be total token transfers , users who did transfers and top transferred tokens .
I will use osmosis.core.fact_swaps table to get data and information about swaps , swappers , top swapped tokens on Osmosis .
I will use osmosis.core.fact_liquidity_provider_actions table to get data and information about liquidity providers and Liquidity provider actions on Osmosis .

According to the left chart about daily transactions of Osmosis we can see at start of chart before hack number of transactions was higher than ever 200k and up to 370k transactions submitted .
The highest number of transactions submitted at May-12-2022 which total 370k transactions submitted at this day.
After hack number of transactions reduced to half of before hack but these days number of transactions growing little bit .
By looking at the left chart about active unique users who interacting with Osmosis we can see highest number of users at a single day was in Apr-23-2022 which total 61K unique users submitted 352k transactions according to previous chart .
After little bit user drop since first days of October we can see since Oct-10-2022 number of users growing again. And at Oct-17-2022 number of unique active users reached to highest number of users over past 1 month with 27k active users.
At the left chart about weekly transactions on Osmosis we can see since first week of January number of transactions growing too much up to 2.65M weekly transactions at 3rd week of May 2022 .
After hack number of weekly transactions reduced to average almost 800k transactions .
At second week of October 2022 number of transactions reached to highest number since over past 4 weeks and seems like it will grow more.
According to left chart about weekly unique active users we can see highest number of active users was at first week of March-2022 with total 139.2K unique active users at this date.
At the left chart about monthly transactions of Osmosis we can see highest number of monthly transactions was in March-2022 with 10.3M transactions at this month and after hack number of transactions reduced to average 3.54M transactions monthly .
According to the left chart about monthly active users on Osmosis we can see highest number of active users was in March-2022 which total 259.9K unique users submitted 10.3M transactions according to previous chart .
We can see monthly active users at October-2022 in only 18 days is 109K and if tend continues i guess number of active users will reach to 181k which will be highest number of active users since over past 4 months.
According to the left chart about daily swaps on Osmosis we can see highest number of swaps submitted at May-12-2022 which total 144K swaps submitted at this day and the day before this day.
We can see these days number of swaps growing and reached to highest number of swaps over past 1 month .
According to the left chart about daily unique swappers these days number of swappers reached to highest over past 30 days an1d average 11k-12k daily unique active swappers swapping tokens these days .
highest number of active unique swappers was at May-12-2022 which total 21k swappers swapped tokens by 144k times .
By looking at the left chart about daily LP actions we can see since first days of October-2022 number of LP actions was reduced but since Oct-11-2022 again we see every day number of LP actions growing .
Highest number of LP actions over past 2 months is at Sep-09-2022 which total 6665 LP actions submitted at this day and days after it still number of LP actions was higher than any day over past 2 months .
By looking at the left chart about daily unique active users who participating at LP actions we can see at Sep-09-2022 total 3782 users submitted 6665 LP actions at this day according to previous chart and also we see these days number of Liquidity providers growing and at Oct-17-2022 reached to 2957 unique user who provided liquidity .
According to the left chart about daily number of stakes we can see highest number of stakes over past 2 months submitted at Sep-15-2022 with 9354 stakes including delegate , redelegate and undelegate actions .
And these day after little drop since first days of October we can see again number of stakes back to normal and little bit growing these days and there is no significant change .
At the left chart about daily number of unique active users who participating in staking we can see also at this chart these days number of users back to normal since drop at first days of October 2022 .
Highest number of users who participate at staking submitted at Sep-09-2022 which total 12.55K users submitted 8562 staking actions .
Finally at this chart i decided to separate each action’s unique users to see activity of users by each action .
We can see total 257.7K users delegated at Staking which is most favorite action .
Undelegation action has used by 55K users so far and Redelegate action used by 40.9K user which is least favorite action targeted by users among other Staking actions.
According to the left chart about daily token transfers we can see these days number of token transfers growing since first days of October 2022 which at Oct-15-2022 total 38.6K transfers submitted at this day which is highest number of transfers since over past 36 days , also the days before and after this day still number of token transfers is high and growing .
Highest number of transfers submitted at Sep-09-2022 which total 40.7k transfers submitted at this day .
By looking at the left chart about active unique users who transferring tokens on Osmosis we can see also at Oct-15-2022 total 26.1K users submitted 38.6K transfers at this day which is highest number of users who transferring token since over past 36 days .
And at Sep-09-2022 total 26.9K active user submitted 40.7K token transfers which is little bit higher than Oct-15-2022 with total 26.1K users and 38.6K transfers .
Conclusions
According to all data , information and visualizations we saw in this dashboard we come to these conclusions :
Token swap is most favorite action for users which total 401.6K unique users submitted 17.1M swaps so far , but we can see token transfer has more unique users with 1.29M users which is normal because this is most common action every user make .
We saw in Sep-09-2022 almost at every section we had huge growth for example 145K transactions submitted at this day which was highest number of transactions over past 3 months .
We saw swap is most favorite action by users specially compare to LP actions , there is almost average daily 40k swaps submitting by average almost 11k-12k daily active users which is way more favorite than LP with average daily 5k LP actions targeting by average daily almost 2650 active users at these days .
We saw average daily 35K token transfers submitting by average daily 23K active users these days which is most common action users making at every platform Also we saw daily average 6200 stake actions submitting by average almost 10.5k active user these days which is so close too swaps .
We can see if we exclude token transfers , swap action has most number of unique users among other actions with total 401.6K unique users so far and LP action is least popular action with total 197.9K unique users so far .

Observations
According to above 4 charts about top swapped tokens and users who swapped these tokens we can see OSMO token which is Osmosis’s token swapped by 10.1M times by total 482.6K unique swappers . And also ATOM token which is Cosmos’s native token swapped by 433.3K unique swappers which these swappers swapped this token by 7.28M times so far .
We can see JUNO token is third most popular token among swappers which 209.4K swappers swapped this token by 1.88M times .
Observations
According to above 2 charts about top 5 most transferred tokens we can see OSMO token transferred 2.12M times by 201.7K unique users so far which is highest number of transfers so far among other tokens .
Also we can see ATOM token transferred 1.49M times by 184.9K unique users so far which is second highest popular token among users to transfer it .
According to above 2 charts about top 5 addresses with most token sends we can see this address osmo1shd5ael9e96h7pvypjqp03rdtr8v4tau9ng9pk has send tokens by 646.5K times so far which owns 5.3% of all token transfers so far , also note that this address has way more token transfers among other top addresses .
Second address with most token transfers is bostrom1rl7lksuzayz5j0u0p35ezrw95czp3gyt4emcwf which transferred tokens by 100k times so far .
