Methodology

Hi in this dashboard im going to analyze DYDX holders and see what they are doing . As we know 105% of the circulating supply will be distributed to investors and team members.

So we are going to mainly focus on DYDX token holders and their actions before next month’s massive event .

What we will analyze ?

• DYDX new holders + cumulative holders .
• DYDX new holders + 7 day moving average new holders .
• Top 20 DYDX holders base on amount of dydx they holding .
• Daily top 5 DYDX holders over past month .
• DYDX Transfers
• DYDX Transfers to CEXs and from CEXs to wallets
• DYDX Swaps on DEXs

Part 1 : DYDX new holders + cumulative holders + 7 day moving average new holders

Observations :

• As we can see daily number of new dydx holders increased significantly during current week compare to previous weeks , at 21th of January total 204 new holders joined to community where at previous days at 11th of January daily new holders was only 88 .
• As we can see also 7 day moving average number of new holders increased to 158 at 23th of January which is so much higher than previous weeks !

Part 2 : Top 20 DYDX holders + daily top 5 DYDX holders base on USD amount

Observations :

• As we can see wallet address 0xfcaf9c57c26566f96d23f585950bb1c66e138890 currently holding 4.6M USD worth of DYDX token on his wallet and wallet address 0xf89d7b9c864f589bbf53a82105107622b35eaa40 is holding 3.2M USD worth of DYDX token currently on his wallet , these to wallets currently holding DYDX token more than every wallet at the moment .
• As we can see at 20th of January wallet address 0x60ac32d416507c844b43e29b2e12dd23f5277420 was holding more than 16M USD worth of DYDX token , in some days top DYDX holders holding huge amount of DYDX and in some days they are holding less amount of DYDX fore example at 22th of January top 1 holder only holding 353k USD worth of DYDX token .

Part 3 : DYDX token transfers by holders

Observations :

• As we can see daily number of DYDX token transfers significantly increased and reached to 945 transfers at 23th of January which at previous weeks and first days of January number of transfers was less than half of these days !
• By looking at the volume of transfers we can see volume of DYDX transfers significantly increased which at 21th of January volume of transfers pumped to 13.2M DYDX which is more than 23M $USD , at previous days volume of transfers was less than half of this volume and we never seen this behavior by holders at shown charts .
• Also average volume of transfers increased to 13.6k DYDX per transfer at 21th of January which is so much higher than previous days and is less than 4th of January with 20.7k volume of DYDX per transfer
• Also we can see number of unique DYDX holders who transferring DYDX is also significantly increased which is almost doubled compare to first days of January 2023 !

Part 4 : DYDX token transfers to CEXs and vise versa

Observations :

• As we saw in previous part ( part 3) number of transfers was significantly increased and here can see also number of transfers from CEXs and to CEXs also increased .
• We can see these days transfer DYDX token to CEXs slightly increased and there is almost even transfers which at previous weeks and first days of January number of transfers to CEXs was lower than these days .
• We can see number of unique holders who transferring their DYDX to CEXs and vise versa seems normal .
• Also we can see $USD volume of transfers from CEXs and to CEXs increased significantly which at 21th of January 9.4M $USD worth of DYDX transferred to CEXs and 7M $USD worth of DYDX token transferred from CEXs which increased so much than before and still seems normal .

Part 5 : DYDX token Swappers break down to Swap in & Swap out

Observations :

• By looking at daily $USD volume of DYDX swaps in/out we can see at 23th of January volume of swaps reached to 2M $USD which is so much higher than before at shown chart and volume of swap in and out is almost even which seems good .
• At 20th of January total 733k $USD swapped to DYDX and 503k $USD worth of DYDX swapped out which is very good because in most of days volume of swap in and out is almost even .
• Also we can see average $USD volume of swaps after a dump at 18th of January seems so good and increasing and average volume of swap to DYDX token from other tokens is more than average volume of swaps out .

Summary and conclusions

According to all charts and texts we saw and read in this dashboard we come to these conclusions :

• Daily number of new dydx holders increased significantly during current week compare to previous weeks , at 21th of January total 204 new holders joined to community where at previous days at 11th of January daily new holders was only 88 .
• We saw 7 day moving average number of new holders increased to 158 at 23th of January which is so much higher than previous weeks !
