Arbitrum brief intro :

Arbitrum is a layer 2 solution designed to improve the capabilities of Ethereum smart contracts — boosting their speed and scalability, while adding in additional privacy features to boot.

The platform is designed to allow developers to easily run unmodified Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) contracts and Ethereum transactions on a second layer, while still benefiting from Ethereum's excellent layer 1 security.

It’s built to address some of the shortcomings of current Ethereum-based smart contracts — such as poor efficiency and high execution costs — which have damaged the Ethereum user experience and frequently make transacting an expensive task.

Arbitrum uses a technique known as transaction rollups to record batches of submitted transactions on the Ethereum main chain, and execute them on a cheap, scalable layer 2 sidechain while leveraging Ethereum to ensure correct results. This process helps to offload most of the computational and storage burden Ethereum currently suffers from, while enabling new classes of powerful layer 2-based DApps.

What is Arbitrum one ? (brief intro)

Arbitrum One — the first permissionless Ethereum layer 2 rollup with full Ethereum smart contract functionality.

Arbitrum one is arbitrum’s first and main chain that DAAPs , DEXs are currently using this chain .

What is Arbitrum nova? (brief intro)

Arbitrum Nova is a new chain that is primarily intended for gaming and social applications, and was first announced earlier this year, and is the first chain built using Arbitrum’s AnyTrust technology.

The chain is intended for gaming and social applications that are cost sensitive and have a lot of transaction volume.

==Because Arbitrum is about to release it’s native token and give Airdrop to users so i decided to analyze arbitrum platform and see how users interacting with this platform this days.==

Methodology

For this bounty i will analyze bridges to Arbitrum from Ethereum and then analyze transactions,top contract and projects that users interacted with .

I will user ethereum.core.ez_eth_transfers table to get data about bridges ETH token to Arbitrum one and Arbitrum nova chain .

I will user ethereum.core.ez_token_prices table to get data about ETH token price .

I will user arbitrum.core.fact_transactionstable to get data about transactions over Arbitrum platform .

I will user arbitrum.core.dim_labels table to get data about platforms label and address-names of contracts .

According to charts above about transactions over Arbitrum chain ( both chains nova and one ) over past 45 days we can say :

• Total 326K transactions submitted over past 45 days on Arbitrum chains .

• The highest number of daily transactions is at Sep-06-2022 which 442K transactions submitted at this day , by focusing on the transactions chart we can see the number of transactions increased from Aug-30-2022 which before this date average transactions approximately was 120K transactions per day but after Aug-30-2022 the average number of transactions increased approximately to 300K transactions which increased more than 2x ! .

• The highest amount of ETH transferred is at Aug-27-2022 which 3M ETH token transferred at this day which is so greater than average !

• The highest number of daily unique wallets who did at least one transaction over Arbitrum chains is at Sep-07-2022 which 49K unique wallets submitted transaction at this day , by focusing on the unique wallet chart we can see the number of unique wallets increased from Aug-30-2022 which before this date average unique wallet approximately was 22K per day but after Aug-30-2022 the average number of unique wallets increased approximately to 31K wallets which increased by 9K unique wallets !

According to charts above about Top Contracts that users most interacted with we can say :

• The Uniswap contract is most popular contract that users most interacted with base on number of transactions submitted with this contract , total 1M transactions submitted that interacted with Uniswap contract , then Sushiswap contract with 682K transactions interacted with is following Uniswap .

• In second chart we can see the Contract address 0x3d6ba331e3d9702c5e8a8d254e5d8a285f223aba is more popular base on ETH token amount , total 162K ETH transferred and interacted with this contract and then Sushiswap and Uniswap contracts following by 137K and 128K ETH .

Conclusions

According to all Charts and Visualizations in this board that i explained about those we can say (according to charts ) :

Because users want to get Arbitrum Airdrop they are using Arbitrum chains (one and nova) more than before at this days because users want to increase their chance to receive airdrop from Arbitrum , according to Arbitrum one and nova charts on this board we can see number of bridges over Arbitrum chains from Ethereum increased at this days.

Also number of transactions over Arbitrum one chain increased almost 2x more than before , and for Arbitrum nova chain as soon as nova start to work and get live number of transaction and bridges and unique wallets on this chain pumped so much and then reduced to normal number of transactions that is almost 700 transactions per day this days .

From Aug-26-2022 the number of transactions and unique wallets increased almost more than 2x on Arbitrum one chain .

Although Arbitrum nova chain has just been launched and is new , total 6.5M USD ETH amount and 30.58K wallets bridged ETH to this chain , this statistics shows us users really trust and like to interacted with Arbitrum platform .
