What is Arbitrum ? brief intro

Arbitrum is a layer 2 solution designed to improve the capabilities of Ethereum smart contracts — boosting their speed and scalability, while adding in additional privacy features to boot.

The platform is designed to allow developers to easily run unmodified Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) contracts and Ethereum transactions on a second layer, while still benefiting from Ethereum's excellent layer 1 security.

It’s built to address some of the shortcomings of current Ethereum-based smart contracts — such as poor efficiency and high execution costs — which have damaged the Ethereum user experience and frequently make transacting an expensive task.

Arbitrum uses a technique known as transaction rollups to record batches of submitted transactions on the Ethereum main chain, and execute them on a cheap, scalable layer 2 sidechain while leveraging Ethereum to ensure correct results. This process helps to offload most of the computational and storage burden Ethereum currently suffers from, while enabling new classes of powerful layer 2-based DApps.

Methodology

Greetings ! In this dashboard i want to analyze ETH token bridges from Ethereum blockchain to Arbitrum One !

The reason that i decided to analyze ETH token bridges to Arbitrum One is because firstly i wanted to know and show you what is going on with ETH bridges to Arbitrum One after FTX & Alameda collapse and secondly i wanted to show you how much users and funds inflowing to Arbitrum and thirdly is rumor of Arbitrum Airdrop gaining activity and users ?

So lets get started .

Daily and Total ETH token bridges to Arbitrum One

Summary and conclusion

According to all data , information and visualizations we saw in this dashboard we come to these conclusions :

According to charts about Total and Daily ETH token bridges to Arbitrum One we can see after FTX collapse bridges to Arbitrum One increased and if we exclude 517M $ bridges at Sep-16-2022 we can see volume of ETH token bridges increased significantly after FTX collapse even though FTX collapse effected so hard and badly on crypto .

As i told you one of the reason to these increasments is rumor of Arbitrum airdrop that came out !

According to charts about average daily bridges to Arbitrum we can see after FTX collapse there is average daily 3k unique users that bridges ETH token to Arbitrum and there is average daily 3.4k ETH token bridge transactions to Arbitrum .

Also if we exclude huge spike on volume of ETH token bridged to Arbitrum at Sep-16-2022 we can see also volume of ETH token bridged to Arbitrum increased after FTX collapse !

According to charts about distribution of bridges to Arbitrum we can see another proof that volume of bridges to Arbitrum One increased after FTX collapse , we can see after collapse 8.5% of ETH token bridges to Arbitrum is in [1k-10k) $ price range which before collapse share of this price range was 6.9% . Also another proof is before collapse 50% of ETH token bridges to Arbitrum was in Less than $10 price range which after collapse share of this price range reduced to 46.9% which is soo good in current situation of crypto !

According to above charts about top 20 users with most number of ETH token bridge transactions to Arbitrum we can see 0x428ab2ba90eba0a4be7af34c9ac451ab061ac010 wallet submitted 1084 bridge transactions so far and interesting thing is after collapse this wallet submitted 445 ETH token bridges to Arbitrum which by far is more than any wallet after collapse .

We can see also during collapse days ( 8th - 10th November ) this above wallet submitted 24 bridges to Arbitrum which means on these three timespans this wallet paced at top 1 wallet with most number of bridges !

🔍 Findings

According to above charts about top 20 wallets with most $USD volume of ETH token bridges to Arbitrum One we can see this wallet 0xc5ed2333f8a2c351fca35e5ebadb2a82f5d254c3 submitted bridges with worth of 817M $ which is by far more than other wallets , and at second place this wallet 0xef7fb88f709ac6148c07d070bc71d252e8e13b92 submitted 500M $ ETH token transfers to Arbitrum One . Neither of these two wallets are not among top 20 wallets with most volume of transfers to Arbitrum One during and after FTX & Alameda collapse !
