The AAVE DeFi protocol besides allowing lending, borrowing and yield farming, also has its own governance system. The governance platform allows for users to vote for proposals themselves or delegating their own power to single addresses.

This method is entirely on chain, meaning that the execution of these votes goes through the Ethereum Mainnet.
