SUMMARY

    Inaccuracies

During the analysis, inaccuracies were found in the Mint Price column of fact_nft_mints database, and inaccuracies were also found in the Flipsidecrypto visualization. The overall sales from fact_nft_sales are also slightly different, lower than on Magic Eden, although it should be higher, especially since sales were also on other platforms

    Mint

    • Top minter by number of minted NFTs - 834eju6tqRnTZYremg5PQiEhnRmaHqLKj7wyLt4eNeHa, he minted 310 NFT

    • 53.2% of users minted just 1 NFT, 0.2% - more than 100

      \

    Sales

    • In total, 36.6k sales were made with a total volume of 336k SOL

    • The largest volume of sales in terms of both quantity and volume in the SOL falls on Magic Eden

    • The largest volume of sales is observed in the first 3 days after the launch, then there is a strong decline

    • On average, there are 5.13 transactions per 1 unique buyer, 5.5 per 1 seller

      \

    Price

    • The difference between the minimum and maximum prices is 295.5 SOL. The maximum price was on November 20 and was 300 SOL

    • Since the day of the launch, there have been no particularly strong fluctuations in the minimum, median and average prices. However, during this time there are jumps in the maximum selling price.

    • Median selling price - 8.72 SOL

      \

    Users

    • The number of unique sellers and unique buyers is about the same. Approximately 0.93 unique sellers per 1 unique buyer
    • About 36-37% of new users from the total number of unique sellers / buyers are observed daily
    • The number of unique users reaches the highest point on the second day after the launch, then declines. A small increase is also observed for both new and old users on December 2
    • Top #1 and #2 in both buyers and sellers - the same number of wallets. GYkv3Bza34R7bLkbET2q3HG7hHSMtisi4ugtdfV7KLmx - 736 buys and 673 sells, 3ocdWpP8NZ7sQmMu1KUL532m9LwzN1CQRBMkSqAQeeea - 404 buys and 579 sells.

    > I would also like to calculate the profit from the purchase / sale of NFT, but for a correct calculation, the correct mint price is required.

    • 44-45% of buyers/sellers bought/sold only 1 NFT, another 45-46% no more than 10 NFTs

      \

    HELD TIME

    • The average time that passes between the sale and purchase of NFTs is 1.97 days

    • 34.2% of holders sold their NFT within 1 day after the purchase, 27.9% - more than a month later

    • Only 30% of unique holders are 5230. On Magic Eden this number is 3741, however, only listed on Magic Eden NFTs are taken into account

      \

    TOP NFT

    • Top 1 NFT by total sold amount in SOL - LILY #2798, it was sold 6 times for a total of 367 SOL (average price was 61.17 SOL). For now the list price is 3333.33 SOL
    • 17% of NFTs were sold only 1 time, 71.1% no more than 10 times

    WHAT ELSE?

NFT arts of this collection is beautiful, nice, but I did not see any unique features and ideas in this collection. Lily made a pretty good sales volume in SOL, but the bulk of the sales were in the first 2 days after the launch, after which it fell sharply. The floor price is several times higher than the price of a mint, fluctuating in the range of about 7-10 SOL, while the price of a mint was 1-5 SOL. Sales do not stop and are actively going. Let's see what happens next with this project, but I have no feeling that it will increase in large volumes over time and that the demand for this collection will increase much

    INTRODUCTION

It is clear that now the situation on the market is not the best

So, Let's take a closer look at Solana, namely its price and the metrics of Magic Eden, the leading cross chain NFT platform. The price of SOL has fallen quite a lot since the beginning of the year, the number of weekly transactions on Magic Eden peaked on September 5th and then this metric is declining, while sales volume did not fall and at the end of November reached a maximum since the beginning of the year (2.03M SOL per week).

I decided to look at the top collections by volume and in this top I noticed the LILY collection. The launch of this collection was on November 18, that is, a little more than a month has passed, however, in terms of total sales, it takes 16th place, overtaking many collections that launched a year ago.

    Let’s start!

    πŸ”Ž Key Findings

There were 9.93k mints in total, with a total volume of 2904 SOL. The data seems not quite true, because according to the post on Twitter, the cost of a mint for holders is 1 SOL, public - 5 SOL. Also, Magic Eden's tweet says that there was a sold out. Accordingly, if we calculate the total cost, it turns out to be exactly more than 2904 SOL. It also turns out that there was minted 9.93 NFT, although it should be 10k

First of all, I checked the sale prices, compared with the prices indicated for Solscan. They were correct

    πŸ”Ž Key Findings

    • In total, 36.6k sales were made with a total volume of 336k SOL. Here I would like to note that on Magin Eden the volume for the same period is 394.5K SOL, which is already more by 58.5k SOL.

      \

    πŸ”Ž Key Findings

Here I would like to draw attention to the inaccuracies of the barchat. So, on the chart, the highest price is 387 SOL, but in reality in the executed request it is 300 SOL (I attach screenshots)

    • The difference between the minimum and maximum prices is 295.5 SOL. The maximum price was on November 20 and was 300 SOL.
    • Median selling price - 8.72 SOL

    πŸ”Ž Key Findings

    • The number of unique sellers and unique buyers is about the same. Approximately 0.93 unique sellers per 1 unique buyer
    • About 36-37% of new users from the total number of unique sellers / buyers are observed daily
    • The number of unique users reaches the highest point on the second day after the launch, then declines. A small increase is also observed for both new and old users on December 2

    πŸ”Ž Key Findings

    • Top 1 buyer by total amount in SOL - GYkv3Bza34R7bLkbET2q3HG7hHSMtisi4ugtdfV7KLmx, he bought 736 NFTs of this collection for a total of 8k SOL
    • 44,6% of buyers bought only 1 NFT, another 45.5% no more than 10 NFTs
    • About half of shoppers spent between 10 and 50 SOL on purchases

    HELD TIME

    πŸ”Ž Key Findings

    • Top minter by number of minted NFTs - 834eju6tqRnTZYremg5PQiEhnRmaHqLKj7wyLt4eNeHa, he minted 310 NFT with total amount - 3,71 SOL.

    • This also looks strange, since it turns out that the value of a mint of 1 NFT was 0.012 SOL.

    • Next, I decided to double-check the Mint Price column.

For example, transaction with id 3Z7JCQ1v36HL3aGbfX8SPJXCJ3AA6KJHnupPz9bnajxPZmHKZABgZLoS5s6uQKNsgsedsuNDYXcZSiSDb1X8Mju1, has mint price 0.011971201, but on Solscan.io (link on this tx) we see the price 5.2456 SOL

    • 53,2% of users minted just 1 NFT, 0,2% - more than 100

    • About half of sellers (48,9%) earned between 10 and 50 SOL on purchases
