Bentobox Stats II
What's the average holding period of each user? from initial deposit to bento until the withdrawal of at least half of the total deposit? What percentage of users who supply stable coins to bento, also supply other coins? what percentage sticks to stable coins?
The BentoBox is a token vault that develops yield for the capital deposited into it. While there are many such yield-generating "vaults" in DeFi, the BentoBox is slightly different. Bento's innovation is its ability to track user deposits via artificial balance, which is used to account for idle funds. In indifference, the same funds are simultaneously devoted to strategies. The BentoBox makes yield for these funds without incurring any loss.
I used Ethereum udm events and Polygon udm event tables to find users who deposited. I filtered users who had less than 100 USD deposits to have better results. For this bounty, the stable coins that I chose were Dai, USDC, and USDT.
The average number of days when users hold their assets was around 24 days. This number shows the average holding period since Bentobox's inception. As I said before, these users deposited more than 100 USD on the Bentobox Ethereum network.
The average number of days when users hold their assets on Polygon was around 16 days. This result counts the users who deposited more than 100 USD.
Conclusion: The average number of dates when users hold their assets on Polygon was less than on the Ethereum network. Does this result related to the Ethereum gas fee? I think somehow the gas fee affects these results. The Ethereum gas fee decreases and increases on some days. I think Ethereum users want to deposit their assets on low gas fee days.
This chart shows the share of stable coin depositors VS other tokens. As the chart shows, 89.7% of Bentobox users deposited another coin (not stable coins). On the other hand, 10.3% of users deposited stable coins that I mentioned before: Dai, USDC, and USDT.
Of all users on Bentobox who deposited more than 100 USD, 309 users stick to their stable coins.
Around 9% of users stick to their stablecoins. On the other hand, more than 90% of users deposited their assets with other tokens that are not named a stable coin.
