GMX is a decentralized spot- and perpetual-trading crypto exchange whose users can benefit from its low swap fees and zero price impact trades through leverage trading and market making. GMX uses Chainlink oracles to source dynamic pricing info from a variety of exchanges.

Trading is supported by a unique multi-asset pool that earns liquidity providers fees from market making, swap fees, leverage trading (spreads, funding fees & liquidations) and asset rebalancing.

GMX is a mix of a perp and spot exchange for traders + an index fund for LPs (GLP). Perp: Traders can long/short utilise assets from the liquidity pool (GLP) with up to 30x leverage. Perp trading is responsible for ~85% of protocol revenue at the moment. Spot: Traders can swap tokens with zero price impact.
