Sei Network Activity
Welcome to the world of blockchain analytics, where we explore the dynamic landscape of blockchain networks and their activities during the period from August 16th to September 12th.
In this comprehensive analytics report, we delve into the Sei Network, a focal point of our analysis, and compare its performance with several other prominent blockchain networks.
Our exploration encompasses a wide range of critical metrics, shedding light on user adoption, transaction dynamics, financial aspects, and the utilization of stablecoins within these ecosystems.
This analytics report delves into Sei Network Activity between August 16th and September 12th, offering a comprehensive comparison with several other blockchain networks. To begin, we examine the total number of users on each platform. Leading the pack is Arbitrum, boasting an impressive 2.11 million users, followed closely by Optimism with 1.19 million users. Avalanche takes the third spot with 667,000 users, while Sei, the focal point of our analysis, secures the fourth position with 463,000 users. Osmosis wraps up the list with 114,000 users, marking it as the blockchain with the smallest user base among those surveyed.
Additionally, we assess the average number of transactions per user, a metric that paints a compelling picture of network activity. Sei emerges as the standout performer in this category, averaging almost 240 transactions per user. Osmosis follows with a respectable 24.5 transactions per user, while Optimism lags behind with 9.8 transactions per user. Avalanche maintains a steady pace with 8.9 transactions per user, and Arbitrum registers an average of 11.5 transactions per user.
At the forefront, the SEI network emerges as the indisputable leader, facilitating an astonishing 111 million transactions. Arbitrum trails behind but still boasts a substantial transaction volume of 24.5 million, securing the second position.
Optimism takes the third spot with 11.7 million transactions, while Avalanche and Osmosis follow with almost 6 million and 3 million transactions, respectively.
These numbers underscore the considerable differences in transactions, with SEI dominating the landscape as the most actively transacted blockchain during this timeframe, followed by Arbitrum and Optimism in a distant second and third place, respectively.
In our assessment of blockchain network performance over the period spanning August 16th to September 12th, we have examined several key metrics, including the total number of blocks, the average number of users per block, and the average transactions per block. Arbitrum emerges as the leader in terms of the total number of blocks generated, boasting an impressive 8.77 million blocks. Sei, closely following, generated 6.39 million blocks, while Optimism, Avalanche, and Osmosis produced 1.2 million, 1.13 million, and 412,000 blocks, respectively.
When evaluating user engagement per block, Sei takes the lead with a remarkable 13.8 users on average per block, showcasing a strong community and active participation. Arbitrum follows with an average of 4.15 users per block, indicating a solid user base as well. Osmosis maintains a respectable 3.6 users per block, suggesting a consistent level of engagement among its users.
In terms of transaction activity per block, Sei continues to stand out, processing an average of 17.3 transactions per block, indicating a high level of blockchain activity. Optimism comes in second place with an average of 9.69 transactions per block, while Osmosis follows closely with 7.3 transactions per block.
In evaluating the success rates of transactions across various blockchain networks during the observed period, we observe significant disparities in performance. Osmosis emerges with a noteworthy 18% of its transactions marked as failed, signifying challenges in transaction reliability on this platform.
Conversely, Arbitrum stands out as a beacon of efficiency, boasting a remarkable 97.6% success rate for all transactions.
