Tracking Realms DAOs

Introduction:

Realms DAO is a tool which helps Solana platforms make their own DAOs easily and vote for each proposal made by community.

This dashboard will investigate into this platform to make an analysis on Solana DAOs.

Methodology:

To do this analysis I used

• Flipside Crypto database
• solana.core.fact_proposal_votes table
• solana.core.dim_labels table

At first step, lets check this platform separately…

• Realms DAO

  has the most daily user in May 2, 2022. (May 2022 has the most user)

  has the most daily votes in June 20, 2022 (444 votes)

  has the most daily proposals in Aug 9, 2022 (85 proposals)

• Newest proposal suggested is for Aug 15, 2022 12':27.

Now lets check one of DAOs more precisely;

Lets check GRAPE DAO:

• Most proposals is for Monke DAO== (196 proposals/ 33.6%)
• On the other hand, Metaplex foundation has the least proposals (3 proposals)
• The imperium of rain DAO with realms_id of6orGiJYGXYk9GT2NFoTv2ZMYpA6asMieAqdek4YRH2Dn has the most unique voters (1321 voters/ 52.4%)
• Grape DAO with realms_id ofBy2sVGZXwfQq6rAiAM3rNPJ9iQfb5e2QhnF4YjJ4Bip has the most votes (2704 votes/28%)
• Newest proposal suggested for Synthetify with realms_id of7oB84bSuxv9AH1iRdMp5nFLwpQApv8Yo9s1gGmDkHtSP.
• Mango DAO is the oldest DAO created among these 10 DAOs.

The reason I haven’t used ADDRESS_NAME for each realms_id is that two realms_ids haven’t particular ADDRESS-NAMEs and both was called realms general contract which this similarity made error on calculations.

Theses realm_ids are obtained from Realms DAO platforms pubkeys
