Fees on Kashi Markets
Introduction
Q103. How much fees each Kashi market has generated and which are the top markets in terms of fees generated?
This dashboard will investigate how much fees users have paid on SushiSwap in Kashi Pools, both on Ethereum and Polygon. I will look into these two networks separately, side by side, in order to compare on which chain users pay more fees when using Kashi markets.
Key points:
- Ethereum users pay the most fees in the SUSHI/DAI Kashi market, whereas Polygon users pay the most fees in the USDC/SUSHI Kashi market. It is reassuring to see that for both networks stablecoin pairs generate the most fees, due to the fact that these pairs have the biggest number of transactions and users. However, it is also interesting to realise that different stablecoins are popular on these two chains - DAI on Ethereum and USDC on Polygon and I am quite surprised to see that it is a DAI pair that generates the most fees!
- By looking at the comparison based on ‘action’, we can see that the fees generated from deposits and withdraws are of very similar proportion on Polygon and Ethereum. However, we can also see that Polygon has generated a lot smaller sum than Ethereum - which could also be affected by the Polygon tables still being backfilled. Regardless, we can see the overall picture, that users generate more fees on Kashi markets by withdrawing their assets rather than depositing them.
The above two charts show how little fees have been paid on Polygon using Kashi Markets. If we look at the count of interactions with these Kashi pools on Polygon, we can see that the count is very low compared to what we can see on Ethereum - there are only a few transactions on Polygon and thousands of transactions of Ethereum. This results in very low fees in comparison to Ethereum - which is most likely caused by Polygon’s tables still being backfilled.
Conclusion
This dashboard has investigated which Kashi markets have generated the biggest amount of fees, on Ethereum and on Polygon. We have found out that the pair with the most fees generated on Ethereum is the SUSHI/DAI pair with over $40k in fees generated, whereas, on Polygon, it is the USDC/SUSHI that has generated the most fees!
