ShroomDK Mint

    \

    ShroomDK Mint is here!

In this dashboard, I will analyse the following aspects of the newly launched ShroomDK NFT:

    • How many ShroomDK NFTs have been minted so far?
    • How many failed mints have there been?
    • How many times has a ShroomDK NFT been transferred so far?
    • How many unique users have minted the ShroomDK NFT so far? And what is the average number of ShroomDK NFT held per wallet?
    • How much fees have been paid by ShroomDK minters so far?

    What is the ShroomDK NFT?

ShroomDK serves as an API Key generator. The API Key can be used with Flipside’s SDKs or directly with Flipside’s RestAPI. The SDKs and RestAPI provide full SQL query access to all data found on Flipside - pretty cool stuff! The NFT is free to mint, and a random amount can be minted every 24 hours.

Let’s dig into the number now and find out how the shroomy metrics are looking like!

Let’s begin the analysis by looking at how many Shroomy NFTs have been minted, on an hourly and daily basis.

The fact that ShroomDK NFTs have a daily limit of mints established by a random number is clearly visible here. We can see that on the first days after the launch, users have been minting the maximum available number, that is 144 on the first day, 50 on the second day, and 100 on the third day. We can also look at the hourly number of mints - the popularity of ShroomDK is very high in my opinion, as we can see that most users mint their Shroomy NFTs in the first hour when the mint is available every day - which is very good news for Flipside!

The next step is to look at the average number of mints per user. Every user is able to mint two ShroomDK NFTs - let’s see how many users have fulfilled this opportunity, and how many users have minted only one NFT.

We can see here, that on average, every user holds around 1.5 ShroomDK NFTs. In other words, but roughly speaking, one in two users decides to mint 🍄🍄 (two) NFTs, i.e. 50% of users mint as much as they can!

Next, let’s look at the total numbers!

Next up… fees! Even though Flipside offers ShrromDK NFTs for free, I thought that it will be interesting how much fees have been paid by users to mint these NFTs.

ETH network is popular for its high fees - yet here, we can see that not a lot of money has been spent during minting events of ShroomDK. On the day of the launch, only about 1.7 ETH has been paid in fees, which given the 144 number of mints on that day, leaves us with 0.012 ETH per each mint. This is not a lot of money (currently, thanks to the bear market), given the amazing things users can do with the SDK access they get - which I will explore in the final section of this dashboard).

Now - time for some correlations…

This chart leads to a similar conclusion as the one above, we can see how many unique users there were on an hourly basis and how that compares to the number of ShroomDK NFTs being minted per each hour.

What this chart shows us, is the times when users were minting 🍄🍄 NFTs each, instead of just one. We can see that interestingly, during the times of every daily launch users were minting just one NFT, and a few hours later after the daily launch, more users were minting 🍄🍄 ShroomDKs!

Lastly, let’s look at some of the amazing things users managed to do with the SDK access that ShroomDK granted them!

Given that it’s only been a few days since the launch of the 🍄 NFTs, we need to give more time to users to see the full potentials that these NFTs unlock. For now, let’s look at what @SusmeetJain has created, namely Flipside AI, which all thanks to the ShroomDK NFT, allowed him to get Flipside’s data from plain English! Very cool stuff, given that not everyone knows SQL, this opens doors for people who prefer to look at data from CSV files!

    Conclusion

This dashboard has looked into the analytics of ShroomDK, Flipside’s newly launched NFT project that opens many doors to analysts. I have looked into how many mints and transfers there have been in the past few days, how much fees users paid in order to mint 🍄s, and what has already been built with the granted SDK access. I’m excited to see what other amazing things users will build with the ShroomDKs - but for now, we have to be patient! 😎
