Swing and a Miss
This dashboard looks at the rate of transaction failures on the Terra wormhole by what blockchain transactions are being sent to.
Solana absolutely dominates Wormhole transactions sent from Terra, with 18,457 of the total 27,664 transactions being sent to Solana. This is well over half of all transactions. Binance and Polygon are both neck and neck for the second highest number of transactions sent to each, with both totaling a little under 4000. Ethereum is by far the least popular blockchain, with only 1,617 Wormhole transactions.
Solana also takes top spot for the highest number of failed transactions, with a total of 1,167 Wormhole transactions from Terra failing. The chain with the least number of transactions failing is Ethereum, with only 87. It is unsurprising that Solana has the highest number of failed transactions and Ethereum has the least, as they have the highest and lowest number of total transactions, but while Solana makes up about 67% of all Wormhole transactions, it makes up about 74% of all failed transactions. This means Solana has a disproportionate number of failed transactions.
Based on the previous data, it makes sense that Solana has the highest percentage of failed Wormhole transactions, at 6.3%. Binance has the lowest percent of failed transactions at 4.2%.
Wormhole is a cross chain bridge that allows for the transfer of assets from different blockchains. Currently Wormhole supports sending UST and LUNA from Terra to other blockchains. The blockchains looked at in this dashboard are the Polygon, Solana, Binance, and Ethereum blockchains.
Solana absolutely dominates the Terra Wormhole, with about 67% of transactions sent from Terra going to Solana, but it also has the highest rate of failed transactions, at 6.3%. Ethereum is the least popular blockchain on the Terra wormhole, making up about 6% of transactions, and Binance has the lowest percent of failed transactions, at 4.2%.
