Axelar Cross-Chain Activity

Axelar is a decentralized network run by a permissionless set of validators that power cross-chain interoperability requests, as explained in their introduction video their goal is to be a Universal Overlay Network, connecting all blockchain ecosystems, applications, assets, and users This means that users or developers can:

    • Users: Have the convenience and ability to transact from a single universal wallet instead of needing one for every network or type of assets, they can swap assets through a decentralized exchange (DEX) directly from their wallet, and the NFTs purchased on one chain become portable, traveling with owners on other blockchains.
    • Developers: Built on the best blockchain (Such as Polygon, Ethereum, etc) for their particular use, and allow their users to interact with other assets/users or Dapps on any other blockchain.

In a nutshell, Axelar will help users and developers to interact with all the web3 chain networks, using their decentralized network in one click.

    Satellite

One of the first ecosystem applications powered by the Axelar Network. Satellite is a decentralized cross-chain asset transfer application, which enables users to transfer assets they hold on a source chain to an address on a different destination chain. (Axelar - Announcing the launch of Satellite)

    Squid

Squid allows any token to be swapped between blockchains, and unlocks access to apps across chains in a single click. Use Squid to build seamless user experiences that tap into cross-chain liquidity and scale to reach anyone with a crypto wallet, no matter what chain they’re on. (Squid Website)

    • This dashboard shows the cross-chain transactions, users, and USD volume from both Squid & Satellite protocols.
    • Additionally, the Blockchains & Assets involved will be analyzed to showcase the favorite web3 areas with the most cross-chain activity.
    • You can use the Parameter "Time" to change the visualization date aggregation, Chart Analysis uses Time = Day
