Justification

• Uniswap still has the most users amount in all time. Still it has huge difference between the rest of the platforms.

• In this metrics, Metamask has higher amount of users than Sushiswap.

4. Average Swap Size

Uniswap v2

• Majority of the month are having an average swap size of 3k to 4k

• The peak average reached is at May 2021 with over 11k average size for swapping event.

• Early of Year 2022 , has reached to 6k to 8k average size while a slight drop during March 2022 onwards to around 3k to 5k.

Sushiswap

• Sushiswap has the highest average swap size over the time.

• In most of the months, the average swap size is at above 10k.

• The highest average size has reached up to near 50k during May 2021.

Metamask

• Metamask has the quite consistent swap volume over the time maintaining at the level between 1k above to 3k on average.

• Evaluating by the average, this round Metamask has a closer gap with other platform average swap size.

3. Monthly Transaction Volume

Uniswap v2

• Uniswap got fast traction in Year 2020, within a year time the swap volume rising from 1 Billion to above 40 Billion (in May 2021).

• However, the in JUNE 2021 the swap volume dropped to around 10 Billion and maintaining around the level.

Sushiswap

• The highest swap volume per month has reached over 24 Billion.

• On monthly average, the swap volume for Sushiswap is around 2 Billion to 11 Billion.

• A downtrend is registered on Year 2022, as the swap volume has gradually decrease over the month.

Metamask

• In early days (Year 2020), the monthly transaction volume is around 1 Million to 150 Million.

• Metamask has the least transaction volume among all platforms.

• However, in Year 2021 to Year 2022, the monthly transaction volume has reached up above few hundreds Million.

5. Total Fees

The fees calculated in the chart analysis above, including the slippage fee + transaction fee + gas fee.

Observation

• Uniswap has the most fee collected among all platforms which range as low as 60 Million up to around 1 Billion.

• While Sushiswap come next with around 30 Million to 400 Million.

• Metamask has only few hundreds k to 23 Million, the least among all platforms.

Justification

• Metamask has the least fees collected.

• While Uniswap and Sushiswap having a wide range of average fee. This might due to the rate of swap traffic in each platform and the size of the swap. With larger size and higher traffic, the swappers tend to pay more for the fees.
