Introduction to NFT

A non-fungible token (NFT) is a distinctive identifier that may be used to assign and establish ownership of digital assets using cryptography. To claim that NFTs or digital artwork are popular would be an understatement given that they have sold for millions, if not tens of millions, of dollars.

Through online exchanges or marketplaces, you may purchase, sell, trade, and create NFTs. Price can be set by the original creator or the current owner. Alternately is that users might have to place a bid on the NFT in an auction.

This Dashboard enables viewers to examine the details of Solana Sports NFT like: The Suites, Blockasset Legends, Hockey Heroes, Collectorz Club and Laidback Lions. Please select the Periodical and Starting_Date in the Parameters column to apply all visualisation.

Approach

1. Table Used: solana.core.ez_nft_sales
2. All NFT sales volume will be calculated in SOL volume.
3. NFT Buyers will be split into daily Active Users and New Buyers. New Buyers calculation only accounts for user’s first NFT purchase. Therefore, there will be no duplication wallets.
4. Starting_Date format = YYYY/MM/DD
5. Default Starting_Date = 2022-01-01

NFT Sales Volume

• The metrics above show the details of Solana Sports NFT sales volume in SOL since the start of 2022.
• As can be seen, The Suites’ sales volume has been the highest among the five NFT Collections.
• This is followed by Blockasset Legends with a total of 16.32k SOL generated.
• Sales volume of Laidback Lions was the lowest with only 79.9 SOL in sales volume since the beginning of 2022.
• The total market share of Laidback Lions, Collectiorz Club and Hockey Heroes each accounts for less than 1%.
• Furthermore, the daily sales volume for the five Sports NFT plummeted after the month of January.

NFT Sales Transactions

• The metrics above show the details of Solana Sports NFT sales transactions since the start of 2022.
• NFT sales transactions displayed a similar trend with sales volume, with The Suites and Blockasset Legends dominated majority of the market share.
• As of October 9th, The Suites and Blockasset Legends each had more than 4k sales transactions since the beginning of 2022, whereas Laidback Lions had only 11 transactions.
• Interestingly, the number of sales transactions of Blockasset Legends had begun to outnumbered The Suites in the month of April.

NFT Active & New Buyers

• The metrics above show the details of NFT buyers for Solana Sports NFT since the start of 2022.
• According to the daily active buyers chart, we can see that the daily active buyers were relatively low.
• However, The Suites had around 21 buyers per day on average, the rest of the sports NFT collections had less than 10 daily buyers on average.
• Furthermore, The Suites is the only sports NFT collection that has a total unique buyers of more than 1000 buyers with 3970 buyers in total.

Conclusion

1. NFT Sales Volume:

   • Since the start of 2022, The Suites have had the most sales of the five NFT Collections.

   • Laidback Lions' sales volume has been the lowest, with just 79.9 SOL.

   • Nonetheless, following the month of January, the daily sales volume for the five Sports NFTs drastically decreased.

   • The Suites and Blockasset Legends dominated the bulk of the market share in NFT sales transactions, which showed a similar pattern to sales volume.

   • Since April, the number of sales transactions for Blockasset Legends started to surpass the sales transactions for The Suites.

   • The number of daily active buyers for Solana sports NFT collections were fairly few.
   • The remaining NFT collections, with the exception of The Suites, have less than 1k unique buyers.
