What is Flow?
Flow is a blockchain platform that originally was designed for gaming purposes, but has expanded since its launch in 2020. The flow blockchain enables fast, low-cost transactions and supports smart contracts. It powers blockchain applications including NBA Top Shot, a non-fungible token (NFT) offering.
What is NFL ALLDay?
NFL All Day is a digital collectible marketplace that lets football fans collect video highlights in the form of NFTs and connect with other like-minded fans from around the world. This piece is part of CoinDesk's Sports Week.
Method⚡
In this dashboard, i analyzed AllDay marketplace on Thanksgiving day and compared it before and after that day. 10 days after November 24th and 1 year before that.
I mainly used ==Flow.core== database provided by Flipsidecrypto and ==“flow.core.ez_nft_sales”== table to extract its data. I used AllDay contract address: ==“A.e4cf4bdc1751c65d.AllDay”== to filter its data from that table.
Charts are mostly showing the Thanksgiving day, after thanksgiving day until December 5th and before thanksgiving day about 1 year ago. I changed the timeframe in some situations and mentioned it in that section too.
Also i only considered successful transactions with TX_SUCCEEDED = 'TRUE'
For a better perspective i used log scale in some charts to make them more understandable.

Findings👀
- After a little hype on mid September 2022, the AllDay marketplace stats like daily number of stats and $Volume fell off massively.
- Not on Thanksgiving day, but after that we can see some increases in this collection stats especially the daily average sales $volume that recorded a huge spike on December 1st.
- In general, after thanksgiving day, this project recovered a bit in bearish market and its usual stats like number of daily sales and volume increased slightly.
Findings👀
- For the line charts above, i decided to set the timeframe for 10 days before thanksgiving and 10 days after it. As we see, AllDay saw a huge spike on its daily average price and also 7 day MA on Dec 1st, almost 1 week after thanksgiving day.
- It seems like thanksgiving day put its effect on AllDay popularity and it actually paid off.
- In the left and right bar charts i didnt use any specific timeframe, we can see the average price on thanksgiving day is almost the same comparing with past 10 days and the floor price was actually higher on that day too.
- AllDay marketplace experienced 65K highest NFT price before thanksgiving and 9.5K after it while recorded almost 1K highest NFT price on Thanksgiving day itself.
Findings👀
- In here we see average stats/day & stats/buyer and stats/sales, In overall, thanksgiving mostly recorded higher averages than past 10 days that i labeled them with ‘After Thanksgiving‘.
- The thanksgiving day actually recorded more buyers per day than before and after it. If u want my opinion, that day worth a lot for this marketplace popularity because it made it 2 times more famous! and because of that day and its events, this marketplace succeeded to record over 1.2K buyers per day and it was its highest of all time.
- This marketplace also recorded its highest NFTs per number of sales on that day too.
Findings👀
- ==“0xc5381e5ca971dd56”== wallet address was the biggest purchaser on thanksgiving day with over 1.5K purchased USD volume in just 1 day.
- It is interesting that most of the trades on Thanksgiving day belong to Detroit Lions, a collection that is neither on before thanksgiving top teams nor on after it!
- Same story for players too, Calvin Johnson is the most traded player on thanksgiving day but there is no sign of him on before or after that day top players.
Conclusion💡
- AllDay marketplace experienced a small hype in mid September and after that fell off with the rest of the market.
- After thanksgiving day, its stats increased and almost doubled such as number of sales, sales volume and buyers.
- This marketplace’s NFTs recorded a massive spike on their prices on December 1st, almost 1 week after thanksgiving day.
- AllDay recorded its highest number of buyers per day on thanksgiving day over time since last year.
- The most traded player and team on thanksgiving day is not on top teams or players before and after that day and only belong to that day.
