Flow user activity
Introduction:
Flow is a fast, decentralized and developer-friendly blockchain, purposely built to support decentralized apps (DApps), games and the digital assets they run on. It’s designed for scalability and faster speed without sharding techniques, which makes it ideal for crypto-based games and NFT collectibles. learn more https://learn.bybitglobal.com/blockchain/what-is-flow-blockchain/
Recently there were identified some interesting spikes within user activity.
So in this dashboard I will explore how active users have evolved over time and dive deep into user activity for two directions (last 60 days and last year), compare them and try to clarify the reasons for such unusual activity.
Methodology:
To perform this dashboard I've used the following 2 tables from Flipside crypto :
flow.core.fact_transactions were used to extract main info from transaction. Also it helped me to find out first user interaction with Flow blockchain. So in that way we can explore behaviour of new users.
flow.core.fact_events was used to pull contracts names which users interacted with.
Firstly I'll look at Daily activity stats and check what share of unique wallets per day take new users.
Next step will be exploration of New user activity, their overall activity and interaction with contracts.
In the end I'm going to explore Monthly activity stats and compare similar spikes in Monthly active users metric.
