Introduction

What is rETH?

The rETH Token. As a Rocket Pool staker, your role is to deposit ETH into the deposit pool which will enable a node operator to create a new Beacon Chain validator. You can stake as little as 0.01 ETH. In doing so, you will be given a token called rETH.

What is aETH?

aETH is a synthetic reward bearing bond asset that enables instant liquidity for the Ethereum 2.0 network. It represents the staked ETH plus all future staking rewards. At the start in December 2020, aETH was issued at a ratio of 1:1 to the amount of ETH staked.

What is stETH?

stETH is Lido's liquid variant of staked ETH. stETH is a token that represents staked ether in Lido, combining the value of initial deposit + staking rewards. stETH tokens are minted upon deposit and burned when redeemed. stETH token balances are issued 1:1 to the ethers that are staked by Lido.

Method

I first from the ethereum.core.fact_hourly_token_prices table, compared their average prices on a daily basis since 2022.

Also, I got the percentage difference of the daily price of stETH, aETH and rETH compared to ETH.
Then I used the ethereum.core.ez_dex_swaps table and analyzed stETH, aETH and rETH as below:
- Total daily volume of swaps(From/To)
- Total daily transactions of swaps(From/To)
- Total daily unique users of swaps
- Cumulative volume, transactions and unique users of swaps(From/To)

Average Price

**Method:**I took the average price of ETH as 100 and obtained the percentage difference of the average price of aETH, rETH and stETH based on that daily.

The average price of rETH has been higher than the average price of ETH.
The average price of aETH has been lower than the average price of ETH.

Number of Swaps(To)

78.8% of the number of swaps(To) belongs to stETH.
Since the beginning of 2022, the total number of daily swaps of stETH has been higher than aETH and rETH, but on August 27, the number of daily swaps of rETH exceeded that of stETH.
The cumulative number of Swap stETH is higher than other tokens and is bullish.
aETH has the lowest swap number between stETH and rETH with about 3%.

Volume of Swaps(From)

94.8% of the volume of swaps(From) belongs to stETH.
The daily volume of stETH is more than other tokens.
The cumulative volume of Swap stETH is higher than other tokens and is bullish.
aETH has the lowest swap volume between stETH and rETH with about 0.8%.
On June 23, 2022, the volume of Swap aETH was around zero.

Number of Swaps(From)

75.2% of the number of swaps(From) belongs to stETH.
The number of daily swaps of stETH is more than other tokens.
From April 15 to May 1, the cumulative number of swaps(From) of stETH and rETH were almost equal, but after that the number of swaps(From) stETH grew more.
The cumulative number of Swap stETH is higher than other tokens and is bullish.
aETH has the lowest swap number between stETH and rETH with about 3.75%.

Users of Swaps(To)

Since the beginning of 2022, the total number of users swaps of stETH has been higher than aETH and rETH, but on August 27, the number of users swaps of rETH exceeded that of stETH.
The highest number of users who have swapped in one day belonged to rETH with 657 users
