What is Near?

NEAR's native token is also called NEAR, and is used to pay for transaction fees and storage. NEAR tokens can also be staked by token holders who participate in achieving network consensus as transaction validators. NEAR Protocol is focused on creating a developer and user friendly platform.

What is gas units?

internally, transaction fees are not calculated directly in NEAR tokens, but instead go through an in-between phase of "gas units". The benefit of gas units is that they are deterministic – the same transaction will always cost the same number of gas units.

Method

From the flipside_prod_db.mdao_near.transactions table, I got 10 of the contracts address that users gave the most gas. Then I compared the same top 10 contracts, their gas amount in the last month and last week.
