    Introduction

    What is Solana?

Solana is a highly functional open source project that implements a new, permissionless and high-speed layer-1 blockchain

Solana’s third-generation blockchain architecture is designed to facilitate smart contracts and decentralized application (DApp) creation. The project supports an array of decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms as well as nonfungible token (NFT) marketplaces.

    What is NFT?

An NFT is a digital asset that can come in the form of art, music, in-game items, videos, and more. They are bought and sold online, frequently with cryptocurrency, and they are generally encoded with the same underlying software as many cryptos.

    Metric

In this dashboard, I reviewed the top 10 NFT collections based on popularity and sales volume (degods, blocksmith labs, okay bears, solana monkey business, taiyo robotics, galactic geckos, famous fox federation, degen trash pandas shovels, cets on creck,communi3: mad scientists==,==portals) according to the following metrics:

    • Sales Activity
      • Sales & Mint
      • Buyers & Sellers
    • Sales Volume
      • Floor Price
      • Sales Volume by Marketplaces
    • Holders
      • Total Holders
      • Distribution of wallets based on their number of NFTs

    Method

Considering the recent event for FTX, which went to the verge of bankruptcy and caused a sharp decrease in FTT currency and Solana currency, I decided to analyze Solana's top NFT collections and see how Solana's currency drop has affected its NFTs.

This happened on November 9 and you can see the changes in the charts compared to the previous months.

I used the parameter feature so that a better analysis can be made by choosing one of the NFT collections based on the number of past months and the type of chart display based on day, week or month.

The tables I used in this dashboard:

    • solana.core.fact nft mint
    • solana.core.dim_labels
    • solana.core.fact_nft_sales
    • solana.core.fact_swaps

    Parameters

    • nft_project:

      • In this parameter, you can choose one of the top 10 NFT collections.
    • timeframe_month:

      • In this parameter, you can see the analysis from the number of previous months to the current month by entering the number.
    • date_display_type:

In this parameter, you can view the charts based on your choice by choosing a day, week or month.
