Q1. How many total Metamask wallet holders are there? What’s the average value of ETH held in wallets? What percentage of wallets are engaging in a higher order activity, like staking?

Method

I filtered from ethereum.core.ez_dex_swaps table ORIGIN_TO_ADDRESS = lower ('0x881d40237659c251811cec9c364ef91dc08d300c') And I counted the number of unique ORIGIN_FROM_ADDRESS as the number of MetaMask wallets. Then I got the average balance of MetaMask wallets from the flipside_prod_db.ethereum.erc20_balances table with the filter CONTRACT_ADDRESS = 'ETH'. I used the ethereum.core.fact_event_logs table to analyze the activities of the MetaMask Wallets. One of the most activities is staking, which with the filter event_name = 'Deposit', I got the percentage of MetaMask wallets in staking.

MetaMask is one of the leading crypto wallets, and relies on browser integration and good design to serve as one of the main gateways to the world of Web3, decentralized finance (DeFi) and NFTs.

One of the most activities is staking.At the bottom shows the total number of MetaMask Wallets and the total number of MetaMask wallet in staking and the percentage of staking.

MetaMask Wallets Activity

The chart below shows the balance distribution in MetaMask wallets by ETH.

ETH => below 10 => 32.1%
ETH => Between 10-100 => 30%
ETH => Between 100-1000 => 25.2%
ETH => Between 1000-5000 => 12.6%
