Q11. Calculate the deposit rate of wETH over time on Osmosis. How does this compare to SushiSwap and Thorchain now? How does the wETH deposit rate compare to when wETH was a relatively new asset (or the protocol was relatively new)? Is Osmosis growing at a faster rate than Thorchain and Sushiswap?
Method
I used osmosis.core.fact_liquidity_provider_actions, ethereum.core.fact_token_transfers and lipside_prod_db.thorchain.liquidity_actions table to calculate deposited wETH to these protocols since 2022. Main Criteria for Calculate the deposit rate of wETH over time on Osmosis :
- The number of transactions and deposit rate of wETH to OSMO.
- The number of transactions of wETH on three platforms (Sushi,Thorchain,OSMO)
- The amount of wETH deposited on three platforms (Sushi,Thorchain,OSMO)
- The cumulative growth of count of transactions on three platforms (Sushi,Thorchain,OSMO)
- The cumulative growth of amount of wETH deposited on three platforms (Sushi,Thorchain,OSMO)
The above chart shows deposit rate and the amount of wETH over time on Osmosis.From May 12, 2022, the amount of deposits has increased.The maximum amount of deposit was on May 25, 2022.

The most deposited wETH belongs to Thorchain, followed by Sushi with 315.6k and 193.7k wETH, respectively. This amount for OSMO is 4k according to the cumulative growth deposited wETH amount.
