AAVE and stAAVE movements
Overview
AAVE is a decentralized lending protocol that allows users to lend and to borrow different tokens. Users deposit digital assets into "liquidity pools" as collaterals and on the basis of the amount of collaterals they can borrow. Also, users’ deposits can be used for lending.
AAVE offers various defi instruments. In addition to lend and borrow users allow to deposit and stake AAVE on AAVE platform.
This dashboard provides an overview of depositing and staking AAVE token on AAVE platform.

Depositing AAVE
Graphs show how the amount of supply and withdraw of AAVE have changed over time.
We can see that early 2021 was the blossoming period of AAVE. The activities has decreased in late 2021. In may and June 2022 we can see the positive net amount of deposits.
There is an issue in the source of data as you can see the early amount of supply is lower than withdraws.
Staking AAVE
Data shows that while staking AAVE has not been changed significantly since the beginning of 2021, the USD value of staking has decreased significantly.
Since June 2022 we can see an upward trend in the proportion of staking to unstaking. However, the absolute value of staking and unstaking is decreasing.
Popularity of staking
Graphs below shows the daily number of staking/unstaking actions and the daily number of wallets involved in staking/unstaking.
We can see that since July 2021 the number of users involving in staking has decreased. However, in June and July 2022 the popularity of AAVE has peaked again.
