Introduction

StarkWare is a layer 2 Ethereum solution promising fast, secure, scalable and low cost blockchain. This dashboard investigates the flow of ETH between Ethereum blockchain (L1) and StarkWare (L2).

Notes on method

In addition to the proxy contract address '0xae0ee0a63a2ce6baeeffe56e7714fb4efe48d419', The following origin_function_signature signifies StarkWare's related actions and distinguishes between deposits and withdraws:

• deposits: '0xb6b55f25'

• withdraws: '0x00f714ce'

Results

The graph below shows the number of deposits and withdrawal of ETH over time. From this graph we can find regardless of the amount of ETH when StarkWare attracted more attentions.

The graph below shows the daily amount of ETH deposited into StarkWare from Ethereum over time.

Withdraws

The graph below shows the daily amount of ETH withdrawn from StarkWare.

In total 25,8 ETH has been withdrawn so far from StarkWare.

We can see that in total 407 Eth has been deposited so far into StarkWare.

The graph below shows the daily number of unique users deposited ETH into StarkWare. We can see that the number of depositers has been declined significantly since May 8th.

Conclusion

The data shows that:

• The ETH amount deposited into StarkWare is much higher than the ETH amount withdrawn from the blockchain.

• The number of depositors also are more than withdrawers.

• However, when it comes to trend, we can see that the daily number of depositors are declining while more users withdraw ETH from StarkWare. Moreover, the daily amount of deposits are also becoming less compared to withdraws.

The graph below shows the daily number of unique wallets have withdrawn ETH from StarkWare. The graph shows an upward trend since June 5th.

We can see that in all abovementioned factors deposits is higher than withdraws.
