Introduction

Lido is a liquid staking solution for ETH 2.0. With Lido users are able to stake their ETH without locking assets or maintaining infrastructure. For one ETH staked users receive one stETH (1:1 rate).

stETH can be used for DeFI activity on LIDO ecosystem, such as Curve, Blaster, and anchor liquidity pools. While the staked ETH cannot be withdrawn or unstaked with LIDO, stETH can be swapped or provided as liquidity.

This dashboard focuses on ETH staked with Lido and analyses the amount of ETH staked in the past three months.

Analysis

The graph below shows the daily number of minted stETH which is equal to ETH staked. We can see that since May 15th the amount of ETH staked has been sharply declined.

The graph below shows the daily number of staking actions and unique stakers since three months ago. Interestingly, the graph does not show a significant dramatic decrease after May 15th as the amount showed.

Since three months ago in total about 2M ETH has been staked with LIDO by about 23K unique wallets.

Conclusion

The analysis showed a dramatic decrease in amount of staking after May15th which can be the effect of UST depeg and the collapse of Terra and market crash.

However, the data shows that the daily number of unique stakers has not change dramaticly.
