Quix vs Magic Eden vs OpenSea
Overview
In 2021 the popularity of NFTs exploded and the adoption NFTs were rapidly growth. One reason behind that growth was the launch of marketplaces that offer a good service for users across different blockchains.
This dashboard investigated the popularity and performance of three prominent marketpalces on Optimism, Solana and Ethereum:

Quix is the largest NFT marketplace on Optimism, a layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum. It has a lower transaction fee than other marketplaces on Ethereum.

Magic Eden is the leading NFT Marketplace built on Solana.

OpenSea is the most popular NFT marketplace among all blockchain users built on Ethereum. It is by far more popular than Magic Eden on Solana and Random Earth on Terra: not only in terms of number of unique purchasers (users), but also in terms of volume (amount) and number of sales.

Analysis
Graphs below show how the number of unique NFT purchasers, and the number and volume of NFT sales has changed since July 1st.
We can see that:
- The number of unique purchasers on Quix and Magic Eden has recently increased while on OpenSea has steadily decreased since first of July.
- The number of NFT sales on Quix very recently and Magic Eden recently increased.
- The number and volume of NFT sales and NFT purchasers on OpenSea is far higher than on Quix and Magic Eden.
