    Method and Data

This dashboard aims to contextualize SEI metrics in comparison to other blockchain networks.

For our analysis, we have selected a combination of Layer 1 (L1), Layer 2 (L2), and Cosmos chains for comparison with SEI. Specifically, we have included Ethereum, NEAR, and Flow as L1 chains, and Arbitrum, Polygon, and Optimism as L2 chains. We've also included Osmosis and Axelar as representative Cosmos chains.

Our examination begins with a focus on performance, where we present key metrics such as block time, transactions per second (TPS), and success rates.

Following that, we delve into the popularity and activity of the SEI network by analyzing user data and transaction statistics.

Furthermore, we provide essential metrics for the native tokens of the selected chains, including market capitalization and daily price changes.

Lastly, we explore the performance of other Cosmos chains during their initial 30 days of operation.

Note 1: Our analysis is based on a 30-day timeframe, but you can adjust the timeframe to 60 or 90 days using the selector above.

Note 2: The Total Value Locked (TVL) for the selected chains is presented in the table adjacent to this section.
