SQUID DEX Usage - Extension

    Introduction

Squid facilitates seamless token swaps between blockchains, making it easy to access apps across different chains with just one click. By leveraging Squid, developers can create user-friendly experiences that tap into cross-chain liquidity and reach a wider audience with crypto wallets, regardless of the blockchain they are on.

With Squid's API and SDK, developers can support swaps between any type of token and connect multiple swaps and on-chain function calls across a wide range of integrated chains. This enables users to instantly explore new ecosystems and unlock the potential of different chains.

Currently, Squid supports bridging from 9 chains, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Avalanche, Binance, Fantom, Moonbeam, Celo, and Kava. Through a number of dexes, Squid offers cross-chain swaps between these chains and many others.

This dashboard, built on Squid Flow App, provides an overview of the DEXes involved in Squid routing. While our app offers a comprehensive overview of chain-to-chain linkages, this dashboard provides insights into the DEXes that serve as liaisons in transferring assets from one chain to another.

In this dashboard, we utilize Squid's easy-to-use table of Flipside's Axelar schema to present the interconnectedness of chains. We provide an overview of the volume of assets that are transferred between chains by leveraging Squid Router, along with insights into how this has changed over time.

Instead of focusing solely on source and destination chains, we also examine the routes and dexes involved in transferring assets between chains. We analyze how chains are connected and which dexes play a role in these transactions. We rank dexes based on the number and volume of transactions involving the sending of assets.

Furthermore, the dashboard includes a tool that allows users to extract the history of wallet assets using Squid Router. Additionally, a leaderboard of Squid users is presented, listing them based on the volume of assets they have transferred through Squid Router.
