    Introduction

Lido is a liquid staking solution for ETH 2.0. Using Lido users are able to stake their ETH without locking assets or maintaining infrastructure and receive stETH against it.

stETH can be used for DeFI activity on LIDO ecosystem, such as Curve, Blaster, and anchor liquidity pools. While the staked ETH cannot be withdrawn or unstaked with LIDO, stETH can be swapped for other wETH through liquidity pools.

This dashboard examines what pools are most frequently being used for swapping stETH. Two datasets are used individually: the table ez_dex_swaps of ethereum_core schema and the table dex_swaps of ethereum schema.

    Results

    Table ez_dex_swaps of ethereum_core schema

The table below shows what pools are used most frequently on which platforms.

As can be seen the most popular pool is wETH-stETH LP on uniswap-v2.

As can be seen from the graph below the pool is more frequently used for stETH --> wETH rather wETH --> stETH.

    Table dex_swaps of ethereum schema

The graph below shows that the most popular pool is wETH-stETH LP on Curve.

We can see from the table below that unlike on stETH-wETH LP, on the stETH-wETH Curve liquidity pool more swaps are from stETH rather wETH.

    Conclusion

The data shows that pools are solely used to swap stETH for wETH or vice versa.

The Curve pool is mostly used for swapping stETH for wETH, while the Uniswap pool is mainly used for swapping wETH for stETH.
